Unknown vandals smear paint on Lincoln Memorial

The Lincoln Memorial was shut down Friday morning after vandals splashed the statue of the nation’s 16th president and the marble floor around it with green paint, U.S. Park Police said.

Police are reviewing surveillance footage from the popular tourist attraction on the west end of the Mall, but so far they have released no information about who may have been responsible.

Authorities believe the vandalism happened around 1:30 a.m. The National Park Service will work to clean up the paint, police said, and the memorial will be closed to the public until cleanup is complete.

Police said no words or symbols had been painted or written on the memorial, only splatters of green paint. No damage was reported at the Mall’s other memorials and monuments.

The WaPo is losing some of it's Leftist support if the comment section is a harbinger. It looks like about 50/50 in Left/Right comments. Yes, I suspect the Green paint was a signal as to the culprit/culprits. But it sounds like there were some surveillance cameras working. The real question is: does the Bamster have ANY respect for the Emancipator of the slaves? Will he care that this Memorial was vandalized? I suspect not. It isn't about HIM. So he won't pay any attention.

Call me cynical. Many of these types of activities are false flags intended as a deception by operatives to stir up the public and create an intended reaction.

Problem one is a controlled media that is in partnership and refrains from investigating, and reporting objectively and honestly.

Many no longer trust even the highest levels of government (ours or others) not to do wrongful and evil things so as to push a political agenda, whether it be gun control, more surveillance, martial law, expansion of the perpetual war on terror, etc.

Corruption and lack of ethics has become the new norm.
