WASHINGTON - The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to continue the collection of hundreds of millions of Americans' phone records in the fight against terrorism.
The chamber rejected a measure to end the program's authority. The vote was 217-205 on Wednesday.
Republican Rep. Justin Amash had challenged the program as an indiscriminate collection of phone records. His measure, if approved by the full House and Senate and signed by the president, would have ended the program's statutory authority.
The White House, national security experts in Congress and the Republican establishment had lobbied hard against Amash's effort.
Libertarian-leaning conservatives and some liberal Democrats had supported Amash's effort.
The vote was unlikely to settle the debate over privacy rights and government efforts to thwart terrorism

If we wait until November 2014 - when the Primaries are OVER - it will be TOO LATE. The decisions are made FIRST in the Primaries!!! You are correct. We all need to get involved locally and primary out the traitors. My guy Labrador voted AYE!

My New Jersey congressman, Scott Garrett, is a rock of conservatism and he voted to end the program. Good man.
My senators suck ass.

NOW, we can tell who NSA/Odongo has the dirt on. IF they voted for this, theyre dirty and need to be voted out of office. Until that happens, we have a one-party (communist) system in this country. Odongo rules supreme. They know it, we know it. Its now only the unwashed masses that still believe they live in a free country. Maybe someday theyll wake up and realize whats really going on.The vote was to end the program. You have everything backwards.

The two parties are already officially one party in places like Italy and Greece with coalition governments raising taxes and cutting spending at the same time.
In this age of economic decline it might be our future if a serious third party or parties were to emerge like they did in those countries....

I took a look at your website. Thanks for serving and truly, thanks for being willing to run. Plainly put: you’re good people.
That said, I think that getting elected to CONgress is a fools errand. Even if you get elected, even if you are somehow able to resist the attractions that our political “leaders” seem so quick to fall for, you’re going to find yourself as one of the few “clean and sober” people residing in a crack house. You’ll be marginalized, hated, and unable to do what you went there to do. If your objective really is to end up in CONgress, then I urge you to consider a different path.
If on the other hand what you’re trying to do is focus attention on conservative political issues by running a campaign, then running a campaign is actually not so bad a way to do so.

I frankly believe in a double barrel approach from a primary challenger to another candidate running third party if the RINO wins.
NO VOTES FOR RINO’S IN ANY ELECTION....THERE’S REALLY NO DIFFERENCE IN THE END.

boner could vote “no” because someone who’s re-election is not in jeopardy voted “yes” on his behalf.
Anyone still think the gop can be changed from within?

A lot of people didn't vote ...
Anybody who didn't vote should have a damn good reason. Anybody who voted in favor of the NSA/White House spying on American citizens should get the boot.
To: 11th_VA
F--- the GOP. They're in control of the House, and they can't muster a vote to end this BS?
I've had it with Tyranny's apologists.
