Muslims amuse me at this point.
Yipping little dogs, like their “profit” mohammed.
Sun rises in the east. Mohammedans offended.
Water flows downhill. Mohammedans offended.
Cute little fuzzy bunnies cavort in the meadow. Mohammedans offended.
The Dome is lovely and should be relocated brick by brick to Arabia. But the mosque should be destroyed.
The rapture comes after seal six in Revelation. In Mathew 24 when Christ is asked what will be the signs leading to your return his answer is tribulation, not good times then wham.
Better prepare your heart now, to go through tribulation until His return.
Oh, by the way, the tribulation on his return is spelled with a capitol T.
The purpose of the rapture is not to save us from tribulation but to preserve us from His Wrath.
Don’t let the Happy Clappys lie to you about good times for all...
Ever seen a headline “Muslims happy...”?
Muslims are always angry, its their religion.
Muslims forget that the Koran is SILENT in regards to Jerusalem, the name is NOT even mentioned ONCE.
Christians are going to suffer as well.
If you're prepared for His return, you will be pleasantly surprised that you are wrong. Otherwise, why bother with being prepared now if I know I can get serious after I see the temple about to be rebuilt... just sayin'. There is this pesky thing called the imminent return of Christ or the Doctrine of Imminence... http://www.plymouthbrethren.org/article/1625.
Finally, what better way to preserve His bride from His wrath than to take her out of the way, before He pours out His wrath upon and unbelieving world... or shall He have died for His bride only to flog her in the end?
And if you want to argue that the church must suffer to show herself approved, then you have just adopted salvation by works, and done away with Grace.
When doesn’t a muslim get angry?
to preserver from Wrath, yes.
to keep from tribulation no.
Big difference.
Yes they are and do. More than most these days. It is real hard to face the abortion rate in this once great country. The pervasive pride and violence, graft and greed. Horrible environment.
People of faith in God and/or morality are “the old school” and held in distain, targeted by those who think evil is strength. Meekness is seen as weakness.
You have my pledge on all three. Now what is our working definition of "wrath" or "God's wrath" and "tribulation"? .
I have my own questions regarding what is God's wrath, and here they are, Q. Is God's wrath upon the unbeliever strictly related to eternal damnation, after the Great White Throne Judgement? Or is it related to both eternal damnation and also a time of wrath that God pours out upon the earth during the time of the tribulation.
If the answer is both, then, if believers must go through the tribulation, will they also experience God's wrath as collateral damage as well as the persecution of the saints (tribulation) by the devil and the followers of the beast?
I would say that the key to the issue is that the word tribulation in English translations is from two different Greek words. The tribulation leading to Christs return as described in Mathew 24, Luke and John is from one word, and the word called “the Great Tribulation” is elsewhere in the bible translated and The day of Gods Wrath.
I personally believe that Revelation 6 and 7 (the seals) are the framework or timeline / index of the book of Revelation. This makes the seals sequential and the 7th seal the end of the story.
If the seals are seals on the scroll from Revelation chapter 5, and is the deed to Creation, it makes no sense that when the 7th seal is completed and Christ has, as the second Adam redeemed the world, that he then trashes the place.
I believe that the seals are “as a womans birth pangs”. ie, then start very mild, and on the first birth pang the woman is questioning is this it, but then they increase in intensity and frequency.
In real life, again in my opinion, we are already in that time of the tribulation leading to Christs return.
As we are in the list in Mathew 24, part way down it. We now have world wars, earth quakes in diverse places etc.
This all gets much worse from here, as does the list in Mathew, until the Rapture. Just reading Revelation 6 & 7 shows me that the world does not realize that it is Christs return till seal 6, but by then it is too late. On seal 6 the damage is stunning, with the Sun turning black and the moon red, massive earthquakes breaking up the crust and leveling mountain ranges.
Then, I believe it shows the Rapture. Millions before the throne of God praising him in “robes washed white in the blood of the Lamb”. Followed by seal 7, the throwing of Gods wrath upon the earth.
Trumpets are what is blown by the Kings Herald to announce aa decree by the king. The bowls are what was decreed, the bowls of wrath. So, again, I believe that the trumpets and bowls of wrath is the seventh seal.
This fits well with the understanding that the Church is Raptured out because they are in the way of Gods Wrath. The rest of Revelations are different stories about those days and all fit into the timeline of the seals.
For instance, one could fit the Anti-Christs New World Order citizenship of the number of the Beast between seal 4 and seal 5 easily. But, like all prophecy that would be purely speculation. Prophecy from Gods perspective does not tell the future, it just tells what happens then, in the future.
We have to get there to recognize it.
As to agreeing to disagree, without rancor, all I can say is no rancor here. This is prophecy, meant for speculation not gospels, meant for doctrine.
Fair enough?
And Blessings to you!

If developing South Sudan harms Sudan, so be it, I'm not sure why it's in our interests to stay out. Certainly the fact that Sudan is Sunni and South Sudan Christian and animist couldn't have anything to do with it. Doesn't Obama's Africa All Star Team know where South Sudan is? Or don't they care since the South has no golf courses, Sudan has a 9 holer. Maybe it's the restaurants, but
Well, that makes us even.
I am profoundly offended by Jihadist Websites.
Heck..even “Ask the Imam” is offensive to me!
(Like when they give advice to the lovelorn on the proper way to beat your wife, as outlined in the Hadiths)
God promises throughout the Scriptures, and Jesus Christ Himself promises in Revelation 3:10, that the Church will NOT go through the Tribulation.
And those of us who believe that God tells the truth know that the Church, as the Holy Spirit tells us, is not appointed to wrath.
Nowhere does the Bible say that the Church will see one minute of the Tribulation.
The tribulation, which is spoken of dozens of times with various labels like "day of the Lord," time of "wrath," "the tribulation," etc., is mentioned throughout the Bible. Some of the many references include passages throughout almost all of the prophets, the Olivet Discourse (Matt. 24:4, 28; Mark 13:3, 23), and most of the Book of Revelation (419). That time is referred to throughout Revelation as the wrath of the Lamb or God. Note the following: "the wrath of the Lamb" (6:16); "for the great day of their wrath has come" (6:17); [God's] "Thy wrath" (11:18); "he will also drink of the wine of the wrath of God" (14:10); "and threw them into the great wine press of the wrath of God" (14:19); "seven plagues, which are the last, because in them the wrath of God is finished" (15:1); "seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God" (15:7); "Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God into the earth" (16:1); "Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath" (16:19); "He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God" (19:15).
It is quite clear in the biblical text that tribulation is a time of God's wrath, not of mankind or of Satan. Scripture speaks of some episodes of Satan and the world against God's people, but the emphasis is clearly upon the wrath of God throughout. In fact, throughout the tribulation there is first a fourth of the earth's population that is killed (Rev. 6:8), then a third is killed (Rev. 9:18), and finally, by the end, all unbelievers are killed (Matt. 13:40, 43; 25:31, 46; Rev. 19:11, 16). Obviously, these passages speak of a time unlike anything that has ever happened throughout the Church Age.
Kept from the Hour
Clearly the New Testament teaches that the Church will be kept from the time of God's wrath. Paul, in one of his earliest epistles makes note of this fact as follows:
"and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come" (1 Thess. 1:10).
In the same epistle he says, "For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thess. 5:9). Paul assumes the much used Old Testament term "wrath" to mean what it does in the Old Testament, which is the time of God's wrath or the tribulation period when God's wrath will be poured out upon the earth. Thus, these two passages, which speak of a future time different than the current Church Age which they were in, clearly see that wrath occurring during the tribulation. Therefore, the Thessalonian believers and all Church Age believers have a promise from God that we will not experience the wrath of God. A similar point is made from Paul's statement in Romans 5:9.
Revelation 3:10 says,
"Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell upon the earth."
This promise made to the Church of Philadelphia and thus all believers throughout the Church Age promises that we will be kept out of the time of the tribulation. This passage has very clear pre-trib implications. The "hour" or "time" of testing is what believers will be kept from.
bttt
It will descend from on high, and squish both mosques presently occupying the site. Muslims will be ejected from the pressure like watermelon seeds, and then all the Muslims will high-tail it to Mecca with their beads between their legs. We’ll build the gates with physical bricks, but the rest will be the work of G-d.
I can imagine the Muslim world becoming quite upset by that. Yes.
