ObamaCare is at the center of a rapidly escalating fight that threatens to shut the government down this fall.
Republicans have tried this maneuver in Obamas first term, only to back off later to the chagrin of Tea Party leaders.
This time, GOP lawmakers are emboldened by problems plaguing the administrations ObamaCare implementation.

This WOULD be perfect timing for the 2014 elections
GOP will cave again..guaranteed.
I lost all confidence in them and they are doing nothing to rehabilitate their image.
Now, I just think of them (all of them) as a crowd of poseurs and thieves.
What gives you that idea? Just because something has happened every single time in the past does not necessarily mean that it will happen this time.
Maybe the sun won't rise in the morning. Maybe this time socialism will work. Maybe this time the RINOs won't cave.
Shut ‘er down. In every game there’s a moment of opportunity. This is it.
CALL BOEHNER AND MCCONNELL!!!!
This is our LAST CHANCE and they’d BETTER GET IT RIGHT!!!!!
(See: Scott Walker)
The GOP castrati will be singing in soprano harmony long before Traitorobamacare is threatened.
As the adage goes, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
It’ll make Boehner’s job too difficult - freakin’ RINO he is.
Unfortunately, that's a good idea.
From another thread, here's a thought from me.
...
In a way, I'm glad that Chief Justice Roberts let ObamaCare ride on.
Roberts' reasoning was essentially that the Supreme Court doesn't make law.
And so, the makers of the insidious law known as ObamaCare ... a Democrat President, a Democrat dominated Senate, and a Democrat dominated House should be ... will be forever responsible for the MESS they created.
Wow. Your post is super ultra defeatist. Probably the most defeatist I've seen yet (and I've seen a bunch).
You get the medal.
Congratulations.
Normally I would say shutdowns are losing propositions. Gingrich clearly lost to Clinton. But given the reason behind this, Obama’s unconstitutional actions in deciding which parts of the law he’ll follow, then I say for the GOP this is the hill to take or die trying. Shut it Down!!!
The GOP will cave, as they are worried that being too hard on Obamacare will cost them Hispanic votes.
“GOP will cave again..guaranteed.”
I’d like to disagree with you............
but I can’t - I am afraid that you are right
Delaying implementation of key parts of the healthcare law and losing the support of labor unions are just the beginning of trouble for Obamacare, says Dr. Ben Carson. "It's gonna be a lot worse than this. This is the beginning of the collapse," the retired Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon said on Fox News Channel's "Your World" on Tuesday. "Usually when you roll out a big program, you roll it out bit by bit. You determine what's working. You can change things," Carson said. "But to try to roll out something this massive without really knowing what the intricacies are is quite foolish." (Excerpt) Read more at newsmax.com ...
========================================
Only the deranged twisted mind of a progressive could have dreamed up the h'care mess.
As FReeper Lou L wrote: Shows the mess Ohaha created, and why the WH apparatchiks cannot make it work more than three years after its passage.
Each "box" represents huge organizational beauracracies with people stumbling over themselves; each "arrow" represents hundreds and thousands of information requests and transfers. Those interfaces will have some common calls, but they'll have to be customized to fit each carrier's system and customizations. It seems as though a lot is being left off the "health plan" -- all the costs, all the restrictions, have to be passed along as well.
The thousands of "Navigators"---govt-issue clerks--will offer you "guidance/" And that online calculator...does it tell you how much you're being soaked now, rather than before the saving grace of O'care?=======================================================
Amazingly the lower Rube Goldberg chart is supposed to "simplify and explain" O'care......designed by a consultant group paid to assist in the process of getting states to create exchanges (the ones that interface with 60,000 IRS agents, the strongarm HHS, and an assortment of know-nothing snoopy federal agencies).
But the Supreme Court is duty-bound to strike down unconstitutional law, which DeathCare clearly is. I am tired of judges being too clever by half.
More Doom and Gloom negativity.
This herein lies the problem. If the GOP defunds, doesn’t it become a GOP problem?
