The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's newborn son will 'suck the blood' of Russia in the mid-21st century and should therefore not be celebrated, a controversial Russian politician declared today. Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the leader of the nationalist Liberal Democrat Party, declared 'I don't care about the heir' before accusing the British monarchy of 'destroying our state'. The outspoken politician made his attention-grabbing comments in an interview with the state-run newspaper Rio Novosti.

Kate looks like she is still carrying.

This is perfectly normal, although very annoying to new mothers. (Not as bad as being asked if you're having quintuplets.) It takes a few weeks for the uterus to shrink to the original size, and then the abdominal muscles have to contract.

She had a big baby for such a thin woman, but she's obviously very disciplined and will get herself back into her desired shape.

A constitutional crisis would have been preferrable to such an assention.

Your protest is a difference without distinction:

as·sent

Noun
The expression of approval or agreement: “a loud murmur of assent”.

Verb
Express approval or agreement, typically officially: “Roosevelt assented to the agreement”.

Splinters and wax do not belong in toilet paper. Perhaps we can invite the Koch brothers to build a Angel Soft factory over there.

I don’t understand the negativity towards these people. I do get how it would bore a lot of folks and the reasons behind us not wanting to have the Monarchy type of rule, and it all seems rather silly in the modern era but Will and Kate and the baby, etc. are born into this, it’s not as if they have crowned themselves. If you were born a Prince would you renounce your title? No. It would be your way of life and the way you’ve grown up accepting as the normal way of things. The whole thing imo is no different in how we promote celebrities and they live in huge houses and make craploads of money. Except for a lot of them are vulgar and don’t bother to “give back.” I would much rather idolize, have as role models, or whatever you want to call it, a seemingly nice young married couple who seem not at all arrogant or power hungry (unlike our rulers and a lot of celebs right now)

I heard a breathless reporter on the news today saying something about the baby was displayed to his “future subjects”. Boy did that irk me. If those people consider themselves “subjects” of this inbred offspring of worthless pukes, then they deserve their subjugation. I am so glad my ancestors left that kind of thinking centuries ago. It has been bred out of my people, the Americans (a remnant community) but they are trying to get us to think like that again. Our new monarch is intended to be Government. By God, I will die first.

I agree, 100%! Thanks for your insight!

When we are born, we can only judge our peers by what we go through. I have a podiatrist who has seen both sides. He said when he was a kid, he had no clue that other kids had no mansion and no swimming pool, nor hired help. His parents divorced, and he soon saw the side of life that he had never known existed.

I, on the other hand, grew up with a vegetable garden, butchered meat in the public cold storage locker, and home canned fruits and vegetables in the winter.

Until I was married six years and then divorced three, I had no clue that some people did NOT have to struggle!

I prefer Royalty to most celebs, because at least the Royals have a history of helping the less fortunate. Movie stars? Not so much.

I feel sorry for your lack of knowledge, and the obvious lack of desire to learn more.

WHO are “your people?” How long have they been in the US of A? And where did they come from and when?

Your arrogance puts the Royals to shame.

King obamaumao I who by some internal holy writ of the great unwashed uniformed third world which is used to living under tyranny, proclaims to these same unwashed that he will go around Congress (the representatives of the People), and the Court too. To bypass the other branches of our government designed to check the power of the other.

A petty stupid tyrant, with narcissistic delusions of his own intellect— which is 3rd rate. Indeed “the State, always the State” is NOT an American concept— it is Old Europe, and that did not go well the first time.

The first of my people to arrive came to Virginia around 1650. They were in Virginia until 1813, then migrated westward. Other branches came from New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio. They converged in the midwest after the Civil War. Their descendants are the ones who cheered when the American delegation refused to tip the flag in front of the queen or king or whatever the hell you subjects had at the Olympics. They refused to bow, either. You can be a subject all you want. I never will be.

Sorry to put the Royals to shame. I think they did that to themselves, actually.

MY “people” came over on the Mayflower and fought in the Revolution. They also married those other of my ancestors who were here to meet the Mayflower and subsequent landings by illegal aliens.

Your arrogance amazes me. You should be proud of your ancestors, no matter where they came from because they came here looking for a better chance at life than what they had.

I’m pretty sure, if I were to research your ancestors, I would find at least five lines that went directly back to the Royalty of Europe.

And who told you I was a “subject?” You are sadly misinformed. You don’t even know your own heritage, but you are spewing arrogance in every sentence. Why?

I would be happy to check out your roots for you...or you can start with Ancestry.com. Unless, of course, you feel you know all you need to know.

But by all means, let ME know!

‘Face

My people never liked Yankees much. Too arrogant, and too much respect for royalty.

With the odd extra proviso that the Queen is the final authenticator for the UK to go to nuclear war. Honestly, she is— no greater remnant of the monarchic power. This info is available in wikipedia and elsewhere, under nuclear weapon command and control systems.

But that’s ok we got obamaumao to depend on— if he isn’t out with a boyfriend.
