I just shudder at the thought that what they are doing requires the support mechanisms within the medical community to be consistently available for another 50 years or so.
It just strikes me that if/when said treatment becomes a limited commodity that they'll be in the first group turned away with treatment being reserved for actual, serious afflictions and not mental illness regardless of the degree.
These folks aren't tightly knit to begin with. The full unraveling will be ugly.

Currently, when legal working Americans are in line behind the illegals and the gimmedats - odds are the freaks will be first in line for treatment. But I definitely see your point – and since this house of cards is going to fall at some point, it won’t be pretty.
