Rush, no matter how much he sympathizes with the Tea Party, cannot help but adore the GOPe as exemplified by the Cheneys. I was a great admirer of them till the NSA revelations.
The Cheney's are great supporters of the NSA. It's changed my opinion of them.

It’s practically impossible for the average citizen to understand the consequences of the NSA revelations.
I was not impressed by Dick Cheney’s condemnation of Snowden, but isn’t it a possibility that Snowden created more damage than he intended to correct?
Regarding the NSA scandal, it’s Congress that’s responsible, but few if any cared to apply pressure on the woeful representation that is legislating and funding the surveillance programs.

Rush brings up the GOPe quite frequently at times, and not in the most flattering of ways.
And then he does something like this, as if he were their little toady on a leash.
I like Rush, but there are times when he really screws us.
I’d sure like to bend his ear from time to time. I’m certainly no sage, but I have an honest heart, am willing to listen to those who disagree, and after doing so I try to come down on the right side.
I don’t think Rush does listen much. I’m not trying to be overly critical, but you can’t be right as much as you want to be, if you aren’t willing to listen.

Mark Levin basically endorsed her today, too.

I don't care for any politician who runs on the family name. We are trying to get rid of 2-term Senator Pryor in 2014 who was elected on his family name. We got rid of Blanche Lincoln last round, but her R replacement has not been all that stellar.
