Asked repeatedly if he favors a pathway to citizenship for 11 million illegal aliens, Boehner told CBS's "Face the Nation" that his job is not to take a stand, but to let the House "work its will."

I wonder if we have a whole cadre of psychologists on staff in the House, so people can get right with the psychobabblers before they make a move. That would sure answer a lot of questions.

Being absolutely unable to rid ourselves of a “Leader” like Boehner is what is wrong with the Republican party. If we can’t even get rid of a pathetic excuse for a leader as this then it is no wonder the party is a failure.

And as difficult as this issue is, me taking a hard position for or against some of these issues will make it harder for us to get a bill.

And he wants a bill because?

1) He wants senate Dems and RINOs to s***-can it.

2) He wants to go to conference.

“Boehner is a poor excuse for leadership. He needs to go as speaker.”

Well jeez Mr. Swishy pants taking a position and standing behind it used to be called “leadership.” But, I suppose we are in a not-so-brave new world now.

Pathetic...

These guys seem to think their lives depend on getting a bill passed. What the hell is up with that?

If they were so damned concerned about illegals, why didn’t they put an end to the flow about 20 years ago?

This is one clueless person. Why is he in a leadership position in the first place.

For sake of comparison, I looked up the leadership style of Sam Rayburn (from Brittanica.com):

Although the office of speaker at that time lacked great formal powers, Rayburn used the limited influence of the office to maximum advantage. He also relied heavily on his personal prestige, his skill at persuasion, and personal friendships built up over decades in the House to bridge the regional differences within the Democratic Party and to forge a working majority in the House.

He referred to himself as "Mr. Democrat".

So how did Boehner win the job in the first place?

Poor baby.

And this is what Republicans call leadership.

I agree. I was listening to Rush for a few minutes on the way home this morning. He said something that caused me to consider something that we all agree on, but don’t always voice here.

What has happened to the people who used to speak out for good wholesome policy? There’s an absolute absence of any rational leadership on the right. Some folks think they’re hitting the mark by being a cheer-leader, but no, that isn’t it damn it.

Who was standing up in 2007 and 2010, and after, being consistently against illegal immigration, and those seeking to game our system to jump in line to get legal residency and citizenship before other foreign nationals?

We have one or two loud-mouths out there, but they aren’t hawking solutions. They’re only dumping on some of the idiocy we see right now. All good, but it isn’t enough.

LEADERS (ladies and gentlemen), don’t just damn other people’s bills. They propose their own remedy from a-z.

There is a vacuum on the right that is massive. Most people don’t even know it. They get week in the knees, because they know one person who will save the day.

Save it for what? Where’s the plan?

Oh. A plan..., oh. Well, never-mind. There isn’t a plan. But they’re on our side. They’ll save the day! Get ready to vote for them.

I guess we have to vote for them before we see the plan.

Sound familiar? We’re now supposed to adopt Nancy Pelosi’s game plan? Not this guy...
