HUD's New 'Fair Housing' Rule Establishes Diversity Data for Every Neighborhood in U.S.

To ensure that "every American is able to choose to live in a community they feel proud of," HUD has published a new fair-housing regulation intended to give people access to better neighborhoods than the ones they currently live in.

The goal is to help communities understand "fair housing barriers" and "establish clear goals" for "improving integrated living patterns and overcoming historic patterns of segregation."

“This proposed rule represents a 21st century approach to fair housing, a step forward to ensuring that every American is able to choose to live in a community they feel proud of – where they have a fair shot at reaching their full potential in life,” said HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan.

“For the first time ever," Donovan added, "HUD will provide data for every neighborhood in the country, detailing the access African American, Latino, Asian, and other communities have to local assets, including schools, jobs, transportation, and other important neighborhood resources that can play a role in helping people move into the middle class."

The first neighborhood that HUD should open up is Georgetown in Washington.

Nah, let's start with the Hamptons. Then Maybe a few neighborhoods in HollyWeird, Los Angeles. Let's treat the Ruling Class to a bit of cultural Diversity.

Diversity = Anything but White.
If there was an economic climate that allowed rich and middle class people to hire and pay the less fortunate for work and by doing so pull them up, integration might have a chance to work.
But that's not at all what they're doing.
Forcing welfare ghettos and middle class to live in the same block, where nobody dares go outside, will accomplish nothing good.

What I read into this article is the gov’t will subsidize those who can’t afford to live in the neighborhood of their choice, if they are anything but white.

That’s going to go over really, really well here in north Idaho. The winters are usually enough to take care of the riff raff.

That’s exactly how I read it. And subsidize it with the tax dollars of their neighbors. Ain’t that sweet?

Big Brother will soon “assign” where you are to live

Bingo. Hint: it won't be in cozy suburbs or pastoral rural areas, either.

Another correct item from Ulsterman. One of his Insiders mentioned last year that Obama hated suburban America (too white, you know) and would take steps to make the lives of those living in the suburbs more miserable. This initiative would appear to be the first step in his (or should I say Valjar's) War on the Suburbs.

It better get a move on, then. The national vibe is starting to feel awfully eleventh-hour.

The original do gooder theory behind this was that if you put trash in a nice neighborhood, the trash would emulate their neighbors and magically become (try not to spit all over your keyboard) work ethic oriented middle class people.

That has the possibility of working, but only if there's a stick involved - namely that if any member of that household is convicted of a felony, every member is banned for life from government housing benefits, meaning that they can neither get government housing assistance nor live with someone else getting housing assistance (i.e. anyone found sheltering someone banned will himself be banned along with his entire household). Politically-speaking, this is an impossibility, which is why effective solutions can never be implemented.

I can’t wait to see them try to enforce this in Boston, Cleveland, and Chicago.

Until they come up to the “zoning laws” of the local areas.
*******
This data will be used to COERCE widespread government sponsored changes to the the social fabric of all communities that are deemed to be “exclusive” based on race, wealth, ethnicity, religion, etc. This is an intentionally insidious tactic that, if left unchecked, will lead to the imposition of communism across the land.

Naturally, anyone questionning this unprecedented government “initiative” will be branded as a right wing rectionary and subject to intimidation by various government agencies.
