I'm sure the cats did something to provoke the dogs < /sarcasm> Or at least the dog lovers on this forum will say so or "It was the owners fault" Legally absolutely true, and from the perspective that they had not one but two of a vicious breed also the owners' fault. But the breed remains a danger irrespective of the way they're treated. With memories of Chet66
Oh and BTW I'd say that they didn't TRY to attack the wife they DID attack the wife. They just weren't successful.
Was this in Colorado?
Amish dogs?

AH! Gotcha.
Not known. The media was very careful NOT to give any hints about the identity of the dog owners, so I'd guess that, yes they were Amish. Whites would have had their pictures and address posted.
SONS OF B-—.......BUMPUSES!
“but mentioned on the news was the observation that the dogs were pit bull mixes”
The dogs are to be euthanized. Too bad the same can’t be said of the owners.
wow,right in my own backyard...
Agree
” the observation that the dogs were pit bull mixes”
Yet another mere coincidence
The Bumpuses were white hillbillies in the original story.
I doubt there are white hillbillies involved in this incident.
Yes, it is usually toy poodles and chihuahuas that do this sort of thing.
With all the cops-shooting-peoples’-dogs stories around, you’d think this situation would have been a great opportunity for them.
So it took much longer than 10 minutes for someone in government to come and rescue this woman.
I’m sure a couple of dogs could kill a person in a much shorter timeframe.
Well the difference is that the dogs in this story really needed shooting and weren't on the owner's property. It's only fun if you can shoot someone's pet dog for no reason other than it feels good (but not as good as it feels to shoot the owner.)
They could if she hadn't managed to get into the bathroom and lock the door. My house theoretically (if I hadn't lost all of my firearms while fishing) would have a loaded weapon in every room.
I had a neighbor who bred dogs like this. He moved away.
