NEWT GINGRICH: This fits perfectly with what I was going to say earlier. You have a congressman -- and I respect Bobby Rush. You have a congressman who represents the most violent city in America. You have a congressman who represents the city in which over 500 people were killed last year, 74 percent of them African-American. You have a congressman who represents the city which is 80 percent of the killings, according to police, are by gangs. Gangs have increased -- let me finish. Gangs have increased by 40 percent since this president was elected. There is no federal program to stop it. No one wants to have an honest conversation about it. And so you have a congressman whose own district is bleeding, who puts on a hoodie as a symbolic act, but he doesn't do anything about the gangs in his own district.

I heard Bobby Rush on Hanity. He sounded like a burned-out druggie.
I am unfamiliar with Article 8, can you provide a link.
A friend from Chicago recently stated, “Put a big fence around Chicago and let ‘em all go at it. Sooner or later there will be a lot fewer to deal with when the real revolution begins.”......
While I don’t see his idea as the ultimate solution, it does have its merit. It is those unfortunate innocent people that would suffer and/or die during the process.
There HAS to be a solution if only someone would meet it head on.
I guess what Bobby Rush is saying is that all that black on black crime is because blacks tend to wear hoodies.
Hopefully there will be an unintended consequence of this whole thing. It s**** that Zimmerman has to suffer, but it's bringing out the anger that's been fermenting for decades. Of course, blacks should have equal opportunity. The problem is that the rabblerousers always want more, and the government and most people pander. The result is a totally dysfunctional out of control underclass that is now demanding that decent people not even be allowed to defend themselves.
My question keeps getting louder in my mind. If Trayvon felt threatened, why didn't HE call 911? I know, it's a ghetto thing to not want police involved in anything, then be horrified when they aren't there. These presidential speeches, fake rallies, stars who don't have to live that life should've had one message for "their people"...call 911 ! There should just be one message for the panderers....those inner city neighborhoods need jobs, real jobs, not federal fake program stuff.
The other message is law abiding citizens, all races, are not about to give up their second ammendment rights or their right to defend themselves.
Sorry, can't find it.
The best option, IMO, is admit defeat in the WOD and let the druggies have their stuff. Tax the bejeezuz out it and sell it in state/federal/city/county-wherever stores. If the addicts can get their chit, there won't be the turf wars that we're seeing in all of the cities today.
It'll create a whole new slew of problems, but the gang-bangers will have to settle down and bribe the government officials in a civilized manner to get in on the action.
About time the elected elite have to deal with the monsters that they've created.
I agree with you. Evil attracts Evil.
I meant Article 1, Section 8.
