President Obama’s sad view of America
Washington Post ^ | 7/19/13 | Jennifer Rubin

Posted on 07/19/2013 7:02:03 PM PDT by Nachum

President Obama’s extensive remarks in the White House Briefing Room this afternoon were as surprising as they were gratuitous. He had already made one statement asking citizens to respect the George Zimmerman verdict. Today he did so again but offered no specific policy recommendation with regard to race (although he used it as a forum to assail “stand-your-ground” legislation that ultimately was not at issue in the case). In fact, Obama undid some of the closure he provided in his earlier written statement by intoning: “If a white male teen was involved in the same kind of scenario, that,

I think in many places, that day is here. I think these people just already know it’s a bunch of horse hockey. They’ve worked, they’ve made it, and there’s no way they’re going back. And it IS backwards, in every sense of the word.

Obama is backwards.

If Obama had a son he would look like Trayvon.

If Obama had a city it would look like Detroit.

If Obama had a country it would look like Cuba.

President Obama's sad view of America

Rather than a sad view of America, I think it is a totally pathetic and disgusting and racist view of America. There, I said it. I detest liberals.

Bam is in way over his pay grade, leading from out of his rear.

Ah, when they say, "Leading from behind" they really mean "Leading from his behind."

Make note of when Obama uses the word “folks”, as in

“Now, the question for me at least, and I think, for a lot of folks is, where do we take this? How do we learn some lessons from this and move in a positive direction? You know, I think it’s understandable that there have been demonstrations and vigils and protests, and some of that stuff is just going to have to work its way through as long as it remains nonviolent. If I see any violence, then I will remind folks that that dishonors what happened to Trayvon Martin and his family.”

He is referring only to black people. Because, you know, Caucasians don’t actually have the right to formulate an opinion about the Zimmerman trial.

Hi LibsRjerks and Tammy8, re your posts 16, 19, and 21...

Call me whatever you want, but....

Just because most blacks are out there having dinner, strolling the blvd, and working does not mean they haven’t absorbed the 1960’s communistic thinking/black liberation theology of their elders and thru schools and all forms of media. It doesn’t mean they don’t donate $$ to orgs like ACORN or whatever Rainbow Push is now called. It doesn’t mean they aren’t smiling in your face while stabbing you in the back.

I don’t know who worries me more: The commie and/or black in-your-face agitators or the nice guy smiling at you from the cubicle across the room who may or may not be a commie or black racist. Of course most people don’t want armed insurrection, but they may very well want the same endgame. What is behind the mask of respectability?

I could have written what you both wrote several years ago...your responses were reasonable sounding and kind, but I’m no longer willing to give blacks the benefit of the doubt. (And I sure as hell am not giving commies any kindness.)

In one of his books, the chief community organizer/agitator said that, if it came down to it, he would side with the chicanos, the muslims, etc. All those nice, polite, well-dressed blacks we see in our daily lives...I wonder which side they would take if it came down to it?

Back in the day, I can’t tell you how many looney, freaky hippie types...blacks and whites...told me they were cleaning up their act to infiltrate from the inside by becoming lawyers, teachers, etc.

Two times in my life when things were going to lead straight to rape or death for me, black men saved me. I know good American blacks are out there, but I’m beginning to think they are even fewer and farther apart than I once hoped. I think the race card may be played out, too, but forgive me if I think that the results of having played that card so often and so effectively are here to stay. And, if it true that the race card is played out, I have to wonder what form the next strategy will take.

Some more random thoughts:

I think a hell of a lot of blacks are communists or communist sympathizers whether they know it or not.

From experience, the leftists have their own version of taqqiya (sp?) and, again from experience, if you figure it out and call them out on it, they can be the most vicious former friends EVER.

Among the 96% who voted for obungler vs. the 4% who didn’t, which ones are which? (Off topic: Of the illegals...and legals for that matter...who come here to work to better their lives and assimilate into America and those who come here to take/agitate, which ones are which?)

If you haven’t already seen this (posted by The Ignorant Fisherman last week), I highly recommend it:
http://vimeo.com/63749370

How are we to know which blacks/whites/Hispanics/whatever are communistic and which are not? I submit to you that it is not by what clothes they wear, how well-spoken they are, whether or not they work. Surely, the fact that we now have these people in the highest reaches of our government is a huge clue as to how many Americans of whatever color are communistic thinkers, again whether they know it or not.

My apologies for this rambling, fragmented response...it should probably more correctly be called a rough draft, but I don’t have the time, energy, or motivation to really do these thoughts justice (except in a hit and run fashion on FR LOL). Hope you don’t think I’m picking on y’all!! Just had to get it out.

I wish you both the best and may G-d bless/save America.

Note: I composed this in a FReepmail box and hope it cuts/pastes without all kinds of awful computer gobbledy goop!

Carry on!

[my other tagline: I’m madder than a hornet’s nest and I’m not taking this crap anymore. No, I did not preview this post and only proofread it once. Yes, I’m also paying attention to Benghazi, F&F, NSA/IRS, Egypt, Detroit, etc etc etc on and on and on endlessly it seems. Racial issues are important, too, and if they want this national discussion, have at it, but I will be discussing it on my terms. I’ve heard their narrative going on 45 years now! SHEESH]

My apologies for this rambling, fragmented response...

I thought it was rather cogent.

Yes, there are decent, intelligent, and even conservative blacks in this country. That they are a minority within a minority is thanks to the vile attacks on them by the left when they profess conservatism or express independent, intelligent thought. On the other hand, the saturation of leftism into black society is due to a coordinated propaganda assault on all fronts - through the media, the pulpit, pop culture, and academia.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of "inadvertent black racists" - those who would otherwise live in harmony with whites and have no thoughts of "oppression" or "white privilege", but into whom that seed of grievance has been deeply planted by the left, like a time bomb ticking beneath the skin. When these people see a case like George Zimmerman, that seed comes to fruition, rendering them incapable of viewing the matter through any other lens than race.

It is a sad state of affairs and, in my opinion, represents the sun setting on our once great Republic. All the peoples of this country were moving quick-time toward creating a merit-based society, in which the American dream could be achieved by anyone willing to put in the work. Now, there is an entire race of people convinced that this dream is being kept from them by the "new Jews" - the conspiring, filthy, greedy whites, and their perfidious allies, the conservative blacks.
