Guess, what, Rep. Cummings, I (a white privileged male) also walked across the street the other night - at dusk - so as to not approach a young woman coming in my direction.

I do a lot of walking now for my health.
Last week I was walking in a parking garage because it was raining, at my daughter’s college.
When I saw a girl heading to her car, I specifically walked around so she would have no reason to think I was walking toward her or her car. I know that an older man walking toward you in a parking garage might be considered a threat.
When I walk in my neighborhood I wear bright reflective clothing, and I walk to the other side of the street if I see a female walking a dog.
It is sad that black people feel like others always are threatened by them. I try my best to NOT act threatened, but I still am wary if there are multiple younger blacks together, because of the wilding issue.
If Mr. Cummings and others wouldn’t cry racism every time some black youth is arrested for committing a crime and instead support law enforcement for getting criminals off the street, maybe things would start to change.
Given this guy’s build, I’d guess he doesn’t move around any more than he has to.

the bottom line message for me out of this entire Martin/Zimmerman thing is this: it’s ok for blacks to kill each other, but it’s a problem when it’s done by another race.
It’s the only logical conclusion that I can draw.
