The former congressman quoted the words of civil rights leader Booker T. Washington."There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs -- partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs."
West then took direct aim at Sharpton. I watch the destruction of the black community in America, I have had it with the politics of race baiters who use iambic pentameter sing-song speech to anesthetize blacks from the reality of their demise, West wrote.

Sharpton only gets involved in race protests if there is potential money to be made. He isn't going to make a dime from this, so this tells me he is just following orders from his Fuhrer to distract attention from Benghazi, Egypt and commie care. Seriously, how many self-defense cases are there like this every day? Not even cops shooting unarmed black kids get this kind of attention. But *this* one case gets all this attention? Obama comments on *this* one? What a crock of BS. This whole case is completely blown out of proportion solely to draw attention away from the Communist in Command.

"There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. RE :”
The former congressman quoted the words of civil rights leader Booker T. Washington.”There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public” Rev Al is obviously playing it up and getting air time and $$$ for it,
but Dems key to success under Obama was by identifying multiple identity victim groups : blacks, gays, hispanics, wimmin and convince them that the GOP is ‘holding you(them) down’ and that the Tea party wants to ‘send you back’.
the Tea party was characterized as a bunch of rich old white males(ex slave masters) , and uneducated white trailer trash hillbillies, the white characters in the Roots mini. It worked great in 2012 especially with Romney as candidate.
Actually he didn't have to play to blacks at all, they came automatically.

It appears that Al’s race-baiting has paid off in another way as well. He appeared to have a real hottie on his arm this week.

WOW! Is that an actual quote? Holy smoke, that is Sharpton to absolute tee, absolute perfect description, incredible. Booker T. was one smart cookie, I believe he was even born a slave which shows how far one can go instead of complaining and blaming all the time.
I tell you, I just *know* Sharpton is doing this for Obama, I just know it, it’s obvious as hell - I just would like to know what Obama promised him. I know Sharpton is having trouble with the IRS so it would not surprise me in the least if that “problem” suddenly disappears.
Two years ago it was reported he owed $2.6 MILLION in taxes, and I know there is no way in hell he has paid that off.
