I agree it is silly the way this woman has been transformed into a media celebrity. All that aside, she’s been given quite an opportunity here. One hopes she makes good use of this incredible gift she’s getting from Joyner, though her apparent lack of success prior to this point (almost 20 and still in high school?) isn’t a good harbinger.
One also hopes that she doesn’t become the star of her own reality tv show series. You just *know* some hack in network programming is already considering it.
And the DJ will soon realize he has wasted a bunch of time and money.

I agree and am not surprised. A new PR movement. She needs to get out of high school first. I suppose affirmative action will intervene and she will be propelled through high school and college; but the question is; does she really deserve to. At this point, no.
