She cant read cursive. What is wrong with this picture? They couldnt find a more deserving kid who studied hard and stayed out of trouble? Comrade, get with the program! Marxism does not reward based on merit, it rewards based on need! The idea of studying and working hard to achieve something is very bourgeois.

No, that is an indication of how stupid one can be... how ignorant and uneducated once can be and still pull a B in public school. This is dumbing down to the lowest common denominator... and rachel is the lowest pond scum out there. She set the bar on the ground.

Based on the title, I thought that rachel accepted an offer to be a radio DJ.Well, she definitely has the voice for radio, but that would be a waste. She needs to hold out for a TV news reader gig.

And the DJ will soon realize he has wasted a bunch of time and money.
Count on that.
And he won't be able to fire her without it costing millions more.

I agree and am not surprised. A new PR movement. She needs to get out of high school first. I suppose affirmative action will intervene and she will be propelled through high school and college; but the question is; does she really deserve to. At this point, no. It’s a real shame to do this to a person.

Im happy for her. Dittos on that sentiment. People cannot help the circumstances they are born into, and anyone who desires to take advantage of opportunities in life deserves a chance just like the rest of the Conservatives who post at FR. If I'm not mistaken, that's what Conservatism is all about.

There are guys getting football scholarships who make her look like a genius.
Why shouldn’t she get the same useless college education they get?
Maybe the college she will go to has an athletic scholarship program for Female Sumo wrestlers.
