The teenager that was the last to speak with Trayvon Martin has announced she will move forward with an opportunity presented to her by national radio DJ Tom Joyner.
Jeantel, a South Florida high school student and friend of Trayvon Martin who was the last person to speak with Martin, was ostracized by the court of public opinion, her character attacked along with her appearance.
The teen, who was thrown into the spotlight then berated for her speech, mannerisms and lack...

And they get the facts wrong. Rachel was NOT the last person to speak to Trayvon Martin. The last person to speak to Trayvon was George Zimmerman.

Thank you lord! better on the eyes
I need coffee. An entire pot.
Based on the title, I thought that rachel accepted an offer to be a radio DJ.
Anyone can get into most HBCUs. Outside of Howard U., most HBCUs are not strong academically

This woman is 19 and is going into her Senior year in high school. She doesn't appear to be college material.
I’m happy for her.
Maybe she’ll grow into a useful member of society, get law degree, prove herself as a judge, and get nominated to the Supreme Court.
Or something,
She can’t read cursive. What is wrong with this picture? They couldn’t find a more deserving kid who studied hard and stayed out of trouble?
yea, more free stuff. That’s all she needs.. that and another weave.
I agree it is silly the way this woman has been transformed into a media celebrity. All that aside, she’s been given quite an opportunity here. One hopes she makes good use of this incredible gift she’s getting from Joyner, though her apparent lack of success prior to this point (almost 20 and still in high school?) isn’t a good harbinger.
One also hopes that she doesn’t become the star of her own reality tv show series. You just *know* some hack in network programming is already considering it.
And the DJ will soon realize he has wasted a bunch of time and money.
Count on that.
But then, you just have to be one of the tribal parasites to get things for "Free".....and you never have to worry about working for a living......just go on welfare, like all your ancestors......
Why does Tom Joyner hate Rachel Jeantel?
What did Rachel Jeantel ever do to Tom Joyner? Why does he want to do this to her? She seems to have enough problems in her life, as it is.
Now there's a word that neither her or her benefactor DJ would even understand.
Don't get so uppity man.
Actually, that might be a good thing. Let everyone have a good look at what these idiots have been fawning over.
"Are you finished .. ?"
"Ah already TOL' you .. "
"(loudly) SIGHHH "
"Ah ain' comin' back heah .. "
The b**** hates white people. Hates anything not black. Will be going to a black school. And will prolly graduate (AFTER they "hep" her through high screwel) with enough false sense of worth she'll be a danger to ANY healing that may have occured following this trial fiasco.
I'm afraid we've not heard nor seen the last of DeeDee.

Infamous hoaxster Tawana Brawley whose outrageous rape lie 25 years ago inflamed racial tensions nationwide yesterday was finally slapped with a court order to settle a hefty defamation case against her.
For at least 25 years, she has been living a major lie, said former Dutchess County prosecutor Steven Pagones, who was falsely accused of raping Brawley in 1987 and finally tracked her down, thanks to The Post.
To me, this has always been about responsibility and accountability, added the former ADA, who won the $190,000 defamation lawsuit against Brawley, 40, now a nurse in Virginia, more than a decade ago.
It would be hilarious if Jeantel had a daytime interview show. I would record the first episode just to study feral urban behavior and speech. Normal people would need to have the closed captioning on to see a translation to English.
And behold, another celebrity is born out of another celebrity trial.
“Famous for being famous”.
Can you say “Rachel Kardashian”?
We may have just witnessed the genesis of the next’s generation’s Jesse Jackson - this time waving Martin’s bloody hoodie.
