(CNN) -- The woman known as Juror B37 in the George Zimmerman trial released a statement exclusively to CNN Wednesday pushing for new laws.

"My prayers are with all those who have the influence and power to modify the laws that left me with no verdict option other than 'not guilty' in order to remain within the instructions. No other family should be forced to endure what the Martin family has endured," she wrote.

Sounds that way to me, too. I think she’s willing to play out her 15 minutes of fame with them and see where it takes her (and her husband).

Meh. Let her push.

She can take whatever stand she wants.

When someone is bashing your head into a sidewalk, you can pretty much figure they have intent to kill you...so fire away.

I fully expect the prosecution team to meet with b37, if they haven’t already. It only takes a few questions and the right answers to open an investigation. Wow, would that be the book deal of the century?

I know little about jury nullification but believe it can vary according to states and or jurisdiction.

You could be right because this juror sounds like a loose cannon. Should it possibly happen this will turn into a monumental fiasco.

She must have been the lib holding up things.

I’ll give her credit where credit is due. Her determination was made by using current law - not how she “felt”. Now maybe she feels the law should change, but at least she’s doing it in the proper order.

Or to get attention. WHo knows?

Zhang Fei: She will not be denied her fifteen minutes of fame.
SE Mom: I have a hunch she got nailed by the libs. .and doesn’t have the spine to stock to her gums. .so she is trying to fix it
jazusamo: Sounds like juror B37 has been talking to Jasmine Rand.
Also, she told Cooper that she had a book deal, but not long after her interview with Cooper, it was rescinded.

Right on all four counts !

She could have invoked the spirit of Snarlin’ Arlen Spector and his Scottish Law and voted Not Proven. It worked wonders for him during Clinton’s impeachment.

All 6 ladies did the right thing according to the law when it mattered. Thank God for sequestration we can plainly see why it is so important. Now they are unsequestred unsequestred and back in society, with all hell raining down on them they are shaken from their judgment. They’ve even been suggested they kill themselves. I feel bad for them, cursed by an evil society that hates truth

I’m sorry, but that is really reaching.

Of course.

"My prayers are with all those who have the influence and power to modify the laws that left me with no verdict option other than 'not guilty' in order to remain within the instructions."

Like what? A "Kind of Guilty" option?

Liberals have really gone into overdrive with this one case. They have now used it as an excuse to do the following:

1) To once again condemn the apparently irredeemably racist white America.

2) To rile up minorities who will invariably be told to vote against the evil, racist GOP.

3) To eliminate all Stand Your Ground laws even though SYG played no part in the trial.

4) To attempt to restrict guns even though it was found Grorge uses his gun only in self-defense.

5) To change our legal system to one that emphasizes emotions over laws.

6) To outlaw any idea of profiling either in law enforcement or in the average person's head.

Give it a bit. I'm sure they'll add some more to the list.

There are people who simply don’t understand legal ‘liability,’ either criminal or civil. Just because someone is hurt or suffers a loss does not mean they have a legal recourse for that loss or damage. That is particularly the case when the injured party has brought about the situation that caused the damage or loss.

In this case, the defense showed clearly that Zimmerman was put in a situation to defend himself or face greater harm to himself. Would this juror like laws that wipe out self-defense, including deadly force, when attacked? If she were to think it through logically instead of emotionally, I doubt she would believe the laws should be changed.

The fact is that the Martin family would not have suffered a loss had their son not attacked Zimmerman and put him in a situation where he feared for his life and opted for the only recourse available to him which, unfortunately, took the life of their son.

jazusamo: Sounds like juror B37 has been talking to Jasmine Rand.

She bought the entire "Social Engineering Lawyer , Jasmine Rand ,"the Sanitized, Homogenized PACKAGE !!" All IMAGE / NO SUBSTANCE !

That is why the jury is sequestered
To FOCUS on the charge at hand , and allow nothing else to interferr with the decision-making process ! Just the criminal offense, with no other considerations .

oh ya, the Martins endured a lot. They've made tons of money since his death and been flown around the Country AND had a tattoo covered with "preying hands". No one should endure THAT!

So she wants an emotional verdict. We call that a ‘dictatorship’. So much for teaching civics in school.

The last few days have alarmed me more than the entire last five years. We all knew the left was crazy, and we all knew they would disarm and kill us if they could, but we all tried to make the best of the situation, fighting them politically because, after all, we have to live side by side with them.

The Zimmerman verdict reaction makes me feel like Shelley Duvall in The Shining. If you've seen the film, you'll remember that Duvall's character knows something isn't right with her husband (he had even hurt their son in the past), but she tries to make the best of the situation, since they're stuck together.

There is a particular scene, however, where it becomes crystal clear to her that her husband is insane and dangerous. It is that scene in which I feel myself to be of late.

The writings of the left on the Zimmerman affair reveal their absolute detachment from reality, and expose them for the imminently dangerous people they are.

She knows how to take both sides of the same issue. If she could have she would have voted Guilty and Not Guilty.

Her husband is a lawyer — nuff said there

Clearly he had this book deal worked out during the trial showing that they fully intended to profit from it.

Based upon the reaction of the other 4 I’M questioning a lot of things this juror says.

She may very well have been the lone holdout or the reason that it took so long to reach a verdict.

No kidding. She had the smarts to know the correct and

only verdict, but is now playing dumb so that the popular

kids(media)like her.

There should be a 6 month gag order on juries speaking

about a case in high profile situations. At least this one.

Yep, it's a good thing this jury was sequestered, especially being B37 was on it.

That Jasmine, social engineer is a real piece of work:)

Great points. I wonder, will she finally shut her trap or keep yapping away?

I have to tune her out, it’s just too twisted for me!
