(CNN) -- The woman known as Juror B37 in the George Zimmerman trial released a statement exclusively to CNN Wednesday pushing for new laws.

"My prayers are with all those who have the influence and power to modify the laws that left me with no verdict option other than 'not guilty' in order to remain within the instructions. No other family should be forced to endure what the Martin family has endured," she wrote.

Where did the juror suggest the law should be changed?

Inferred from this statement:

My prayers are with all those who have the influence and power to modify the laws that left me with no verdict option other than 'not guilty'

“It was a miracle George Zimmerman was acquitted. No man should be punished for an error in judgment because some thug jumped him”

Actually,

“It was a miracle George Zimmerman was acquitted. No man should be punished for defending himself because some thug jumped him”

There. Fixed it.

"If you had a pretty white female as a victim that George Zimmerman had shot," the circumstances would have been different, he said.

True, since a pretty white female would be unlikely to be beating the crap out of him, making a claim of self-defense unlikely to be upheld.

She’s not just a liberal, she fits the profile of a low information voter. She hates the news media in general (print and online) and gets her news exclusively from the TODAY show.

She wants her book deal and this is her way of asking raging mob for permission to get it.

No wonder the other 4 spoke out and I’m not buyin that she was one of the 3 initial Not Guilty.

Maybe she meant a verdict of “Innocent” as an option. . .

;-)

Wait a minute.

Isn’t 37 the same juror who sat for 2 hours with AC telling us over and over how she believed GZ’s account and how she believed he meant no harm in patrolling his neighborhood? And that GZ was being beaten by Skittles?

OMG, she’s off her rocker.

And didn’t she tell us that this was the LAST we’d hear of her?

When people know they can’t find justice in the jury system,
they’ll start taking matters into their own hands.

You're absolutely correct. As Americans, if we can't find justice in the "justice system" we'll find it elsewhere, to be sure.

Sounds to me like she is talking out both sides of her a$$. This statement isn’t remotely close to her comments during the live interview, she is a loose cannon and I am concerned. We know she is a liberal because she chose COOPER/CNN for her interview, could we see an attempt at jury nullification coming?

I’m sorry, but that is really reaching.

I should have expected it from CNN.

Obviously juries need some new verdicts in addition to "Guilty" and "Not guilty." Maybe:
  1. Maybe guilty
  2. Not guilty of filed charges but guilty of something
  3. Not guilty but we feel bad
  4. Can we go home now?

She was also the foreman. I wonder how she received that position. Was the qualification that she washes a lawyer’s underwear?

I'm going to give her credit for voting “not guilty” based on the facts instead of succumbing to her obvious emotional issues with the situation. That being said, I hope she is not responding this way because she feels threatened in some way.

“She must have been the lib holding up things.”

She told Anderson Cooper that she was one of the 3 “not guilty” on the first poll. She never wavered during jury deliberations.

Closer to the truth may be:

Zhang Fei: She will not be denied her fifteen minutes of fame.

SE Mom: I have a hunch she got nailed by the libs. .and doesn’t have the spine to stock to her gums. .so she is trying to fix it

jazusamo: Sounds like juror B37 has been talking to Jasmine Rand.

Also, she told Cooper that she had a book deal, but not long after her interview with Cooper, it was rescinded.

She could have held out and created a hung jury.

So she wants an emotional verdict. We call that a ‘dictatorship’. So much for teaching civics in school.

"No other family should be forced to endure what the Martin family has endured," she wrote.

What about the Zimmerman family, honey???

She's not going to stop -- she is now addicted to the sense of her own importance even if she has to throw her fellow jurors under the bus.

She was against Trayvon before she was for him? Trayvon died, Zimmerman is alive. Move on lady.
