There is something patently unjust about this, Jackson said ....
First and foremost, the case was overcharged, Dowd said in a phone call to his office. He said the results were out of proportion to how the case should have been resolved and agreed with Jacksons efforts

Well, he's got that right.....though not in the manner he truly meant.
FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER I AGREE WITH ONE POINT OF JACKSON'S.
Angela Corey must be fired and most citizens agree on that. Marissa Alexander's case is only one in a long list of malicious prosecutions. One case involves a grown man who was accused of a sex offense that supposedly occurred when he was nine years old. The woman is a sociopath who has no conscience and only cares about racking up a conviction rate to get herself advanced to greater state office. In her eyes the end justifies the means. Her malfeasance in office can no longer be ignored.
20 years just for simply discharging a firearm to distract an abusive spouse? Just because she didn't take a three year plea bargain offer?
Imagine what the race pimps would have been saying if she would have charged GZ with aggravated assault. Even that was beyond the scope of the evidence but, they would have been having a fit.
What he really means, is in all cases of “racial injustice” you shouldn’t call the law, you should just call Da Justice Bruddahs, who will exto...I mean extract a proper settlement.
Having it both ways....again
Holy Shiite--did they name a city after this race-baiting poverty pimp? Next, they'll name an entire state after Sharpton, like, (drum roll)
Alabama.
I agree that the sentence seems harsh, but she should not have gone back in the house with the gun. The husband/ex-husband/boyfriend didn’t follow her out to the car to retrieve the gun. She should have just kept on going. The sad thing is that her newborn is without a parent. But, then don’t confuse Jesse with the facts.
Well, he's got that right.....though not in the manner he truly meant.

Funny, but Jackson has been - for the most part - MIA on this whole Martin/Zimmerman trial. I figured he knew Zimmerman was innocent and a jury would make the right call. But mouthing off like a fool never stopped him before from making stupid comments. I guess his idiot son going to prison is pre-occupying his time.
lolol
But this time, I'm glad to see he didn't agitate too much like no-so-Sharp-ton.
Dig up the original article. If I remember right, she escaped the house, got a gun then went back into the house where she then fired the shot that got her 20 years.
20 years for firing a warning shot at her abusive husband. Six months seems extreme for that, she has already served 3 years of her sentence.
The article doesn’t say THAT! Wow.
Oh? Was he there to support the family of the two guys who were gunned down at the Golden Corral?..........
Nifong her!
I think they are racist and wanted him to be set free. They are the real culprits and it should be exposed to the black community for all to see.
They knew if they went overboard, he would not be convicted.
This trial was a Trojan Horse, pushed by Scott and Bondi, to send a message to all young black boys in Florida.
Anyone who saw how happy Angela Corey was during the post verdict press conference can understand she actually won. The State of Florida will not even save the reputation of young innocent black youths.
I read the arrest report. This is a case of attempted murder, not firing warning shots.
This really is my happy place. The former NC A&T QB comes through with a big pass.
Marissa went to her car and got a gun, fired it at her abused husband causing him and the kids to flee for their lives.
