tell me about it, I;ve been arguing with a freeper who claims they are a conservative but has no problem with drugs being sold next to a school, make all drugs legal, get rid of sex age laws, have any kind of marriage etc.
As for your last line, I agree 100%, sadly our party is infiltrated by these kind of people who hijack our nomination process, use our sites and conventions to spout their liberal crap
Yes, he has been a reliable conservative vote in the past, but he’s 69 and his recent sponsorship of the internet sales tax bill tells me it’s time for him to go.
But do we know that Liz will be even as conservative as him?
Well, I and Mark Levin don’t share your outrage. He just endorsed her. She was one of the few Republicans who stood with Sarah Palin.
You have your point of view - I have mine.
It’s a shame there aren’t any FReepers, after 15 years of being online, who are willing to run for office so that the ruling elites can stand down and enjoy their retirement.
(Kristinn excluded) Freepers who are not forced to function in DC sure aren’t going to volunteer to spend two or more years in that fen.
Nope, we don’t. In fact, I suspect that being a neo-con, she will be less socially and fiscally conservative than Enzi.
Reason.com has a piece out now, stating this primary is really about Rand Paul, i.e. Enzi is being primaried for being supportive of Rand.

I’m pissed about the Marketplace Fairness act, but more pissed about NSA spying and drones, so after further reflection, Enzi is probably the better choice.
You talk waaaaaay too much!
Sometimes yea
Speaking of the lesbian daughter, Mary Cheney said she "can't think of a single issue" where Liz disagrees with dear old dad. If Liz Cheney was anti-gay marriage, she would have said so by now. $50 says "true conservative" Liz Cheney will invite her sister's "wife" to her swearing in.
Well, this is up to the citizens of Wyoming to decide. And, here again - is she supposed to disown her sister? I haven’t heard Liz make a statement in this regard - so until she does - its all hearsay.
Nope. She can just be honest and admit she's NOT the "more conservative" candidate in Wyoming, and try running for a U.S. Senate seat against a Democrats where she WOULD be the "more conservative" candidate, instead of wasting time primarying a guy who is 100% rock solid on traditional marriage.
And, again, I ask - have you ever heard her say she was for gay marriage? I don’t want a he said, she said narrative. I also can’t vote in WY, so whoever the citizens of that state elect - we are stuck with.
If she is going to run as the "more conservative" candidate, she has yet to point to any evidence to make her case, whereas there is plenty of evidence that Enzi is already one of the most conservative members of the Senate. The odds are VERY likely replacing him with Dick Cheney's daughter would be a downgrade.
Exactly.
Ok, thank you for that. I didn’t know, and like I said - I can’t vote in WY, so the good people of that state will hopefully, make the right choice.
really
totally agree
