One thing she said will be pounced on. If I remember correctly the judge told the jury to strike the detective’s testimony that he believed Zimmerman. This juror said that was important to her.

The unwringable bell. LOL! Attaboy, Detective Serino!

I thought "people of color" was PC, but "colored people" wasn't. When did that change? (I admit I haven't been paying much attention to PC-ness lately.)

--> NY Times ON LANGUAGE (William Safire); People of Color: "THAT'S THE MOST adorable little colored girl playing outside,'' observes a woman in Berke Breathed's comic strip, ''Bloom County.'...'"

Revoked? Sounds to me like they both agreed not to do a book....and by the way, calling St. Skittles a “boy of color” is adopting the same language as that of the NAALCP.

The interview shown a very honest view of this woman towards Travyon, George, the star witness for the state and so much. The social engineering parties must had threaten the publisher since this was not favorable thoughts to Martin.

An interesting question to ask is, what if the gun had been pointed the opposite way when it fired?

I think two things would have happened:

  1. Defendant Trayvon Martin would have walked, given half-decent legal counsel.

After all, nobody saw it start, and obviously, Neighborhood Watch nazi George Zimmerman was out for a kill. Poor Trayvon was jumped by his pursuer, but thankfully twisted the gun the opposite way at the last moment.

Nobody saw it start. Therefore, gotta believe the defendant's account. Reasonable doubt. In court, there would have been the usual jousting over what social media to admit, etc.

  2. We never would have heard about it, unless in the local area. Wouldn't have been germane to the Regime's agenda.

that’s not new.

they’ve been insuring people of ‘proper thinking’ get advanced through education. scholarships, grants, even grades throughout the years... all meant to channel those aligned with liberal thinking into the pipeline of future business leaders

"Good. No one should profit by doing their civic duty. Conflict of interest."

Lenin and Stalin couldn't agree with you more. But, if they were still alive they would still have you purged.

Can’t imagine why anyone would buy it. Those who were interested watched it or followed the reporting of it.

Any book from a jury member would just not fit the MSM/Political/Race-baiting agenda. Thus, it would have little value.

hmmmmm

"I just see a conflict of interest where a juror's desire to get off the jury to write her book and make money might cause insufficient deliberation, or the juror might be concerned about what would make for good reading and neglect her primary duties of delivering a just verdict in favor of an interesting story."

A valid hypothetical. Though invalid here.

Why, you may ask?

Because it is clear that, in this case, this juror weighed all the facts in the case, considered the Law as written, and came to a just and correct verdict.

So notwithstanding your otherwise plausible hand-wringing hypothetical, there was no deleterious impact on the jury's decision, and no reason for anyone involved not to profit when and where possible.

And "No", I am not a "Libertarian." I'm an "American," where making a profit is as much a part of our national fabric as are baseball and apple pie. Deal with it.

According to what this juror said, 'some jurors wanted to find Zimmerman guilty of something, but there was just no place to go based on the law', I am deeply concerned about the state of our judicial system. It is not the jury's job to decide they want to find a defendant guilty of 'something' because they have a preconceived notion they should but rather, it is their job to sort through the evidence presented to them and determine if the criminal charge levied against the defendant violated the corresponding law.

Given this statement, I'm of the opinion this jury pool was somewhat tainted already but despite that, still couldn't make it stick.

Apparently, it’s a valid story. I watched the replay of Hannity tonight and this guy, Todd Starnes, related the meat of it. Jogger beaten 40 miles south of Memphis, in Mississippi, after being asked “Do you know (about) Trayvon Martin?” Todd Starnes said, the sheriff in charge doesn’t think it’s a hate crime...

Ooops, Greta covering now.
Victim is Devin Dickey, and he is speaking.
The idiot says it’s not a hate crime and referred to his attackers as “gentlemen.”
