Full title: Ted Nugent blames Trayvon Martin for shooting in George Zimmerman case, calling late teen 'a dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe'
Controversial rocker says Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the Black Panthers, President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder made case about race when it's 'clear-cut self-defense.'
Ted Nugent wasted no time in providing ammunition to further stoke tensions over the George Zimmerman case.
The conservative rocker and NRA board member took aim at the controversy surrounding a Florida jurys not guilty verdict in the shooting death of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin -- calling the teen victim a dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe.
In a column for the right-leaning site Rare, Nugent wrote the prosecutors were pressured into bringing a trial when it was obvious cut and dried self-defense.
The race-baiting industry saw an opportunity to further the racist careers of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the Black Panthers, President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, et al, who then swept down on the Florida community refusing to admit that the 17-year-old dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe Trayvon Martin was at all responsible for his bad decisions and standard modus operendi of always taking the violent route, wrote Nugent.
Trayvon had no reason not to attack, because it was the standard thug thing to do. See Chicago any day of the week.
As tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and several other cities to protest the verdict, Nugent later told Newsmax that Martin was solely at fault for escalating the confrontation that ultimately led to his own death.

The Cat Scratch Fever guitarist a polarizing figure who called for arming teachers after the Sandy Hook massacre and is reportedly considering a bid for the White House in 2016 called for the disbarment of the entire prosecution team for bringing the Zimmerman case to trial.
Smart and honest America rejoices that the jury got it right, Nugent said. This was the purest case of self-defense you could have ever asked for.
Ted’s right.
Makes sense to me.
Martin would have been alive today if he had done 1 of two things.
He could have simply stopped and spoken to Zimmerman like an adult or he could have run and kept running till he got home.
Instead he chose to lie in wait. He chose poorly.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
if Zimmerman had been black and Martin white, then everyone In the country would have been in agreement with Ted.
” He could have simply stopped and spoken to Zimmerman like an adult or he could have run and kept running till he got home.
Instead he chose to lie in wait. He chose poorly.”
“teachable moment”
He’s right. TM attacked and assaulted the wrong person. Period.
Also, “tens of thousands” took to the street. First of all Time Square has thousands every weekend and most were just standing watching the spectacle.

In my neighborhood, it sounded like the 4th of July after the verdict was read.
Yo!

My minister invited me over to celebrate.

You nailed it,cc. And he had four minutes in which to choose.
Not a diplomatic way to phrase it, for sure. But is any part of that statement factually wrong?
We need more people on the right who tell it like it is. “Niceness” be damned.
Yes...and I would add that anyone who stands for right should be fairly strong and know at least some martial art. A few rapid boxing combos after a quick duck of the initial punch and Martin would have been intimidated.
That is what GZ said. We really do no know what happened for sure. 5. GZ can stay in hid truck and let the cops see if this guy was up to something. GZ did not even know the name of the street. How would he know if TM should be there or nol?
That the point I’ve been trying to make to my friends all along.
