A good outcome, but will be short-lived. Just saw where the Justice Dept. has filled civil rights charges against GZ. Wish he could get out of the country and make it to Peru.

Jury got it right is just barely winning the vote...need more there...
If the Doj does bring charges concerning TM’S civil rights....they will have to allow the evidence that shows TM is no innocent little boy..the pot smoking, the stolen jewelry, the photos he posted all will have to be admitted.......besides this is simply a money grab by the NAACP...they want the revenues to keep flowing into their coffers...on the backs of their own people.

Tomorrow morning they turn loose the hounds and they will give them no quarter and there will be no place for them to hide.

Excellent comments by George’s brother. I’m so impressed with the young man. Such composure, dignity.
I do believe that they did delay the publishing of the verdict by an hour or so to give the police time to assemble the troops.
I also believe that having the jury announce the verdict on a Saturday was deliberate.
Having a jury work on a Saturday is fairly unusual I believe, but in a case like this probably very wise. On Saturdays the number of people in the city center would be greatly reduced because it is not a regular work day.

Thanks, I sent a private email to everyone who posted or freepmailed me, if I missed you I am sorry. The nurse came out this morning and no infection she could notice. She is coming again tomorrow afternoon. She did take off the dressing and found he has a allergy to the clear film wound covering, all along the edge were loads of blood blisters, and inflammation from that. She got rid of it so, so far so good. Thanks for writing the is being watched closely. God Bless!
I didn’t post last night, I was just reading the thread and was concerned. I asked my husband, who is an MD, and he said it could be bad. I’ve been thinking of you all day! I’m so glad there is no infection.
