A Zion, Illinois teen known was slapped with felony charges after allegedly saying he'd 'cause a mass homicide' at his high school should George Zimmerman be acquitted.
While six women are deliberating the fate of George Zimmerman behind closed doors, the rest of the world waits with bated breath.
But across the country, others are loudly — and sometimes violently — voicing their opinions on what should happen to the former Neighborhood Watch captain who is charged with the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
An anonymous YouTube user posted a rant to the site on Friday saying that Zimmerman should have stayed home and watched Disney rather than go out with a gun.
One Chicago-area 15-year-old wrote on Twitter Friday: "If Zimmerman free imam shoot everybody in Zion causing a mass homicide, and ill get away wit it just like Zimmerman (sic)" read the tweet from @Mark12394995.
The News Sun-Times reports that the tweet from the Zion-Benton Township High School sophomore was later deleted, but not before several people reported the student to the FBI.....

From what I understand it’s just the way they do it in Florida. There’s no agreeing/disagreeing with it. This isn’t a special instance where they set the number at six. It’s always six.
I always thought criminal trials had 12 jurors, and civil trials had 6, but I was corrected on FR a week or two ago, by someone saying that it varied state-by-state. News to me.

Are they actually saying that you can "violently voice" an opinion? Or are they just saying that they are voicing opinions that there should be violence?
Because I still think we live in a free country where you are allowed to voice your opinion, so long as you do not actually commit criminal acts.
I tell you, one sick part of me wants to see him convicted...of the worst charge: Murder in the 2nd just to shove it up the arses of all the people who are asleep in this country...that THIS could happen to THEM.. but the other part of me gains some sense, wants to see this jury reject and spit on EVERYTHING the statists tried to pin on Zimmerman. I am hoping the latter happens because I know if the first happens, the brain dead morons in this country will not give a damn which is just how the statists like it.
Like one cop said to me: “In a worst case scenario, even if Zimmerman was following Martin 2 inches away from his face, was calling him every racist name in the book, that still does not give Martin the right to pound Zimmerman into the ground.” and I hope the jury is smart enough to realize that.
They just arrested a black guy today here in NYC for knocking out a drunk white guy who called him the “N” word. Even though the white deserved it, the LAW says you can’t do that and rightfully so because you risk DEATH. This guy could very well die as could have Zimmerman if he did not shoot.
He didn’t post anything negative about Obamacare or illegal aliens, so twitter has no reason to report this to anyone.
It would seem odd to me that, given half the country thinks Zimmerman should be free, that they could get 6 people on a jury who would ALL vote to convict.
It is more often the case that guilty people are found not guilty, because of the burden of proof.
I find it hard to imagine that, in the end, judges on appeal would not eventually free zimmerman, on the simple fact that this is clearly a reasonable doubt as to self-defense, given that he was being beaten at the time.
If I were to add one thing to the defense closing, I would have pointed out this to the six women on the jury: “Imagine that you have been attacked by a young black man, and he is holding you pinned to the ground, and beating you, as the evidence shows was happening to GZ in this case. Now, imagine a white guy approaches, and that white man has a gun.
“What the prosecution is telling you today is — that white man has no right to use that gun to save you from the assault. If it was you, would you want the man with the gun to leave in fear of being thrown in jail — or would you applaud him for coming to your rescue”.
You’re right. the jury selection process showed that many biased jurors passed the initial “screening process” and were in the final selection pool. Doubt this jury is non biased and probably will not come to a consensus. There was so much political pressure to convict this guy, that the jury pool was probably tainted from the beginning by “court officials”. The prosecution bias of the judge was obvious. The Defense did well if it was able to get two or three non biased people on that jury.
It’s Florida law except in crimes that can end in the death penalty, from what I’ve been told.

Old Man Video: This guy is a 100% idiot - there was a neighborhood watch because of all the crime occurring in that close community. Time the public starts acting responsible, accountable, and respectful and mothers and fathers should raise their children as such...and these crimes wouldn’t happen. Using God’s name in vain is irresponsible and yelling into a camera???

Sorry to disagree but nobody deserves to be assaulted for a word, even if it is an ugly one. And ESPECIALLY if they use it in their music and when they speak to each other.
immerman. However, I’ll bet the jury members or their families have been contacted and told what the “proper” verdict shall be.
I’m not covering for this one. There’s a difference between a kid that posts a threat that’s in jest and clearly indicates it’s in jest. And someone who posts a threat with no indication that it’s anything but a threat.
The people posting threats and calling on others to riot in the wake of Zimmerman ought to all suffer the consequences. They’re not joking, they’re trying to stir up trouble.
To give this any more air time is stupid!
