The pervasive violence in Chicago should cause every reasonable and prudent person to give pause in whether they would continue living there. Certainly for those of us who might consider a trip to Chicago on vacation with our families, the prudent thing would be to travel to a safer city.

People who think that they are safe because they do not live in "those" neighborhoods or "bad areas" are naive. This is the false thinking that you get with the Regressive political approach.

I thought there have been some black flash mob lootings and fights on the Near North Side in the past year or so. They are coming up out of the south side and west side to invade other areas.
In a politically correct world, I don’t know what the answer to black flash mob crime and knockout games and such is. We can’t say that they are uncivilized barbarians in our PC culture. We normally don’t see the MSM identify the criminals. They say they are teenagers but don’t mention other characteristics of these people.

Somewhat true. You can still take a vacation to Chicago so long as you stick to the touristy areas - Navy Pier, the museums, Wrigley Field, the downtown area (during daytime). After dark, make sure you are in a hotel out in the suburbs. Naperville, which is about 30 miles south of the city, is an excellent place to stay. It has a done of great restaurants and shops which gives you plenty to do after coming back from a day in the city.

If Chicago woke up tomorrow and 95% of “Holders’ People” simply vanished, how safe would Chicago then be??

You’re not very safe in any big city in America anymore for obvious reasons.
Chicago is just the prime example.
These thugs in Chicago are all paid and protected with your tax dollars. They all get taxpayers handouts for themselves, their baby mommas and their children. Chicago is a one party Democrat city. The thugs and the politicians work together.

That’s a great info source. Where does it come from? I counted 167 Black murders, 42 white murders. Chgo is 32% Black. 30 years ago I bought a house in Oak Park, one block in from the Austin district, up from West Suburban Hospital. Nothing has changed (I moved to Hawaii 27 yrs ago). New Year’s Eve was a hail of gunshots - one came through my neighbor’s car in his garage. I used to date a Chinese girl who lived on Long - parents owned a laundry. Must have been the last non-Blacks in the hood.
