“Just finished watching Sherlock on Masterpiece Mystery”
My son has lived in London over 20 yrs. One time when I was there, I went to the SHERLOCK HOMES PUB. There is a recreation of his office with him and Watson in there and his dog and desk, etc.. I bought a Sherlock Holmes hat there. I have read every book about Sherlock, watched every film made, was a big time fan, so going there was a real kick for me. If you should ever be in London, go there.
Wow, I didn't know anything about a dog. Other than the Hound of the Baskerville.

I just know in my heart my daughter would love the new Sherlock. But she claims to not like British film because of (get this)— the accents. So I told her to give the first one (where he meets Watson) a try with this bait —”I just can’t decide whether Cumberbatch is good-looking or not - what do you think?” hoping it might entice her. We’ll see.
