I just know in my heart my daughter would love the new Sherlock. But she claims to not like British film because of (get this)— the accents. So I told her to give the first one (where he meets Watson) a try with this bait —”I just can’t decide whether Cumberbatch is good-looking or not - what do you think?” hoping it might entice her. We’ll see.
My daughter is quite smitten with Cumberbatch - though we wonder how DOES he keep his back that straight?? But then, we raised our children on Doctor Who, so they’re quite accustomed to British accents. :-)
