A Catholic mother who was brutally murdered by a gay man because she challenged him about his homosexual lifestyle “died as a martyr for her faith,” according to Bishop Thomas Paprocki, head of the Catholic diocese in Springfield, Ill., who also said the woman’s “murder was widely ignored by the media,” apparently for political reasons.
The woman, Mary Stachowicz, a 51-year-old mother of four children and devout Catholic, was beaten, stabbed, raped, and strangled to death by then-19-year-old Nicholas Gutierrez on Nov. 13, 2002. He then wrapped her body in plastic and stuffed it under the floorboards of his apartment. After his arrest, Guttierrez gave a videotaped statement to police saying “he attacked Stachowicz after she confronted him for being a homosexual,” reported the Chicago Tribune.
According to the defense attorney, Stachowicz apparently had asked Gutierrez, “Why do you sleep with boys?”
As the bishop said: "A Google search on the Internet for the name 'Matthew Shepard' at one time produced 11,900,000 results. Matthew Shepard was a 21-year-old college student who was savagely beaten to death in 1998 in Wyoming. His murder has been called a hate crime because Shepard was gay.

I’ve read this Court Document on the trial. I guess this was the appeal document. Anyway, a lot of insight and detail to what actually happened which many may not actually be aware of unless one followed the trial. Of course, it’s horrible.
Rest in Peace Mary Stachowicz, very sad.
Two thoughts:
1. I hope the Koch Brothers do not allow the msm/lefty hate machine to deter then from buying the L.A. Times and/or the Chicago Trib.
2. The Koch’s are doing, if they go through with it, EXACTLY what must be done to save this country. Namely, dilute the Marxist/socialist anti god message coming off the presses around the country and out of the journalism schools.
I ask any homosexuals too why they want sex with little boys seeing as most male child molesters are homosexuals, because if a male rapes another male, boy or man then he;s a homosexual. something which the media does not mention when they report on a boy being raped or the record number of males being raped in the military since don’t ask was overturned, 9,000 in one year which were reported and I bet many more too.
First call of the new President should overturn this homosexual crap in the military and then challenge in court al of this insanity.

I certainly hope that those maligned brothers believe that is true. This lib/commie/pc axis holds itself up as the arbiter of science and says the other side our ‘bible thumpers’; etc., however, they support the dangerous practices of homosexuality that are very unsanitary — even physically dangerous. That, coupled with their support of the laughable global warming, makes it so annoying when I have to witness the Left’s posturing as regards to science.
