NAACP Natl. Convention starts Friday in Orlando. A perfect storm. O.M.G.
Is this case due to have a verdict rendered by the end of this week? If so, the presence of the NAACP convention in the same town, will be like pouring gasoline on a raging fire.

Can't remember the song or group, but remember one line, "putting out fires with gasoline".
Just popped into my mind reading your post :)

NAACP Natl. Convention starts Friday in Orlando which is very near to where this trial is going on. A perfect storm.
I suspect that is why this trial is being fast tracked.

I don’t think there will be a verdict rendered in time, unless it’s one where the Jury takes five minutes. More likely, we’ll see a mistrial declared which would be almost the same thing with about the same amount of gasoline.

It’s a jury trial. No one could answer that question. The defense did say earlier they thought they would rest on Wed. with closing statements on Thurs.-Fri. Then to they jury.
After todays fiasco, who knows what will happen.
