Quote from article: “I feel so strongly that you need to know just how shamefully even a Purple Heart recipient/disabled veteran can be treated by some TSA and security employees,” she said, in a statement reported by Fox News.

TSA, meanwhile, issued this statement, citing their treatment of Cpl. Kemnitz was standard procedure: “Our intent is to treat all injured service members and veterans with the dignity they deserve. As always, all passengers with disabilities and medical conditions are eligible for screening procedures sensitive to their particular disability, medical condition or other unique medical circumstance.”

This makes sense in an Obama world, one where “conservatives, Christians, military veterans, and gun owners are likely to commit terrorist acts”. This guy probably set off every warning they have for profiling. Of course, we don’t profile Muslims - that would be racist.

It is a patriotic duty to stay out of airports.

If enough people do it, we can bring the airline industry to its knees.

That's the only way this will ever change.

Earlier this year, I saw TSA give extra scrutiny to a military funeral group at DFW Airport. All were in dress uniforms. One was carrying the flag for the burial.

I’m not sure whether I was more appalled by their mistreatment or the fact the military has been trained to meekly accept such mistreatment by the TSA.

...treat all injured service members and veterans with the dignity they deserve...

Well, they demonstrated how much dignity the TSA feels injured service members deserve, now didn't they.

FReepers, I suspect, would have gone for the salute, handshake or hug instead.

Uncle Scam arms Al Qaeda to behead Christians in Syria. The TSA, Homeland Security, Patriot Act, etc. was never meant to go after terrorists. It’s purpose has always been to train the American people to act like prisoners in their own country.

Didn't you watch "Homeland"? If this TSA agent had let him through he might have been able to smuggle Al Qaeda secrets into the country. Later he could run for the senate and later become a secretly Muslim president.

We wouldn't want that to happen, would we?

I got frisked by a female rockchucker in a turban last time I flew. Was wearing my Marine Corps t-shirt at the time too. They just keep pushing.

... What fool editor let this article get listed on the newspaper website? I mean, seriously, there is at the very least some dramatically erroneous facts involved here...

Flying to the California state capital, he was screened by Sacramento airport TSA. Now I can see how some fool liberal reporter might imagine that San Francisco is the capital of California, but some of the rest of us know it is Sacramento. So for this part to be right, he’d have to be tapped to be screened leaving the airport? Wearing his dress blues on an airplane ride to the ceremony...

Multiple times unlikely there. Going to have to bet that this was leaving from the ceremony back home. Then there’s the ‘request to lift his head’ in the screening machine, which should be ‘lift his arms.’

And even though I’ve never flown out of Sacramento, everywhere I have flown out of in California requires going through the screening machine, it isn’t a special screening in this neck of the woods.

And some people wonder if Obama will find ‘soldiers’ to fire on American citizens when the time comes. Damn right he will. And these are some of his front line troops. Billions of rounds of ammo? Guess who is trained to use them. DHS and TSA are not to be dismissed as irrelevant.

TSA exists because we aren’t sheep enough. Every time we go through airport security, we are trained to be more like sheep.

TSA is the supreme law of the land and reflects the administration’s world-view. (hate America, hate Christians, love middle eastern death cultists)

For fairness, just stopping an equal representation of every race, ethnicity, religion, etc...proportional to their numbers in the general population.
In other words,”Well, we haven’t searched a uniformed Marine yet today...”

ONLY terrorists and all Saudis are free of inspection
on entry.

Terrorists (like the Boston terrorists) DID NOT EVEN
NEED PASSPORTS.

And I bet the rest of the passengers just kept their mouths shut to avoid creating a scene. The word “Shame!” repeated ever more loudly, along with a demand to see the TSA shift supervisor would have been appropriate. The sheeple would rather not have their personal schedules messed with. And that is the real shame.

From the article:

". . . Patricia Martin, the former Marine’s travel partner, Fox News reported."

This person is a Marine veteran, and with implicit permission robed in the full dress of the United States Marine Corps he is representing his service and the honor and tradition of the Corps.

A "former" Marine is one separated from the Marines; with a Bad Conduct or Dishonorable Discharge (enlisted), or Dismissal from the service (officer), for the good of the Service. He is no longer to be referred to as a Marine. He is neither permitted to re-enlist in any branch of the Armed Services nor to own nor possess any form of firearms in the United States.

The author of this article, in referring to Cpl Kemnitz as a "former Marine" is committing, however ignorantly, a deep offense to the digmity of the person and to the honor of Corps; and should be publicly corrected, with retraction in the publication.

Yeh since we have had such a problem with highly decorated combat veterans trying to blow up US planes. Theatre of the absurd to the 10th power.
