Today, July 9th, is DAY #21 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday was the first full day of defense witnesses. Perhaps the most significant of the first set were the two police officers who stated Tracy Martin, Trayvons father, said on 2/28/12 the cries for help on the 911 calls were NOT Trayvon. Later in the day Tracy Martin took the stand and essentially said the two detectives were lying. A great analysis of the events from yesterday is available HERE.
What additionally strikes as important to us is the first signs of desperation from the original nucleus of the Scheme Team construct, Benjamin Crump and Daryl Parks attorneys for the Martin family. Parks appeared on Piers Morgan show last night and the video should be watched by anyone who knows how the scheme was constructed.
We accept that Mark OMara is conflicted in this case, and he is trying to walk a fine line between presenting a defense to a case built on political pressure and outright fraud; Yet simultaneously avoiding exposition of both the politics and the fraud itself.
The intentionally avoided open doors exposing the fraud creates anxiety for those of us who know what is inside the room he is avoiding. Our prayers are that his passing those wide open doors is based on prudence [within an unknown strategy]. However, our fear is the hasty and politically correct avoidance might cause him to pass by the room holding the key to George Zimmermans ultimate long-term freedom.
It should be noted the NAACP Annual National Convention starts in Orlando on Friday; Additionally, preparations are being made in/around Miami-Dade for a Wednesday defense wrap up with a community/LEO preparation meeting today.

hahahahaha!!
They switched because they don’t want jurors to get so used to his rhythm that you shut down.
Bernie’s asking the judge if he can ask this witness if he knows the sound of “wet grass”. Once the witness says no, the prosecutor will rest having completely and brilliantly impeached the witness.

Bill Sheaffer:
JLS; the jury will be instructed to decide if they have a “reasonable doubt” on the question on whether GZ was justified in using self defense and if they have a “reasonable doubt” that he was justified.. they must find him *NOT guilty. Hope that helps— those are from the jury instructions
specter paid 26 grand for testimony
Q: When will the defense rest?
Guess.
Yep...I’m praying and for MUCH MORE than “decent money,” too!
Yes. Or put the barrel against your chest and fire it.
It can kill you.
Sorry, what he said was a BLANK cartridge can kill you with the gasses from the powder charge. Something most firearms instructors in the armed services will tell you, or should tell you, when you are going through basic.
Wow! WFTV said they are sure the twill say this witness was paid to say what he did. They are hoping the Vietnam Vet gets bounced.
WFTV stupid commentators seem to think that since Dr. Maio was PAID for his work that his testimony is tainted? They said the jury will take that into account.
What a bunch of hooey and baloney!
Expert witnesses are always compensated for their time.
twill s//b “the state”
Bill and his putz of a side-kick were reduced to impeaching the Dr on the basis he was being paid to be there. . oh no. . .over-looking the fact the state’s witnesses are also being paid to be there as well.
Oh, and they both sniveled that the Dr testified in two cases that were lost.
Nothing about his testimony here was attacked by this idiots. . .
Where’s the pic of that adorable kitten...when I read your post...
At first I was like [HUH?]...
Then I was [LOL!]
Are they serious?
And DiMaio made a crucially important point in that TM wasn’t alive long enough, after having punched GZ, to have developed that bruising on the knuckles. Ergo, why TM didn’t have any real injuries, on his hands or otherwise, other than the gunshot wound.
It makes logical and common sense, but I had never thought about it in that way before today. Let’s hope the jury is now thinking about it in that way.

Mississippi Burning was a movie loosely based on the murder, in the 60’s of 3 civil rights workers. The feds brought the killers to trial for conspiring to deprive the murdered of their civil rights.
More to the point, when the cops were acquitted in the Rodney King case, the feds brought civil rights action against the cops and the cops were found guilty.
