Taking the stand Monday, the father of slain Florida teen Trayvon Martin denied telling police officers that he didn't believe it was his son's voice heard screaming for help on a 911 call that is critical to the murder case against George Zimmerman.
Earlier Monday, investigators Chris Serino and Doris Singleton testified that in their meeting with Tracy Martin two days after his son Trayvon was fatally shot by Zimmerman, the father had said the screaming voice in the background of the 911 call was not his son.

The much-contested call was placed by a neighbor the night of the fatal altercation between Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin, and has been at issue throughout Zimmerman's second-degree murder trial. Several friends have testified that Zimmerman can be heard screaming in the background of the call, but Martin's family members have said it was the teen.....

I thought it was interesting that the prosecution tried to get the gym trainer to say that Zimmerman could have used an arm bar instead of a gun. The trainer had to point out how difficult it would be to gain a submission when the attacker is mounted. A real tough position unless you are good and the attacker sucks.
I believe the cops.My gut tells me that the all female jury will take the “safe” route and believe the sperm donor.

If I was a juror in this case I wouldn’t be swayed by any of the “voice on the tape” witnesses. It would be a wash and all I would focus on was what was not open to interpretation or subjective opinion.
I feel for the people on both sides. Both sides want the voice to be their loved one’s voice thinking it makes their case.
The dad did what I would expect and the defense is not saying he’s a liar but that the heart hears what it wants regardless of what the ears are hearing.
There should have been no witnesses to this unless the experts were allowed to testify.
You know, I really think he loved his son. But like so many black families, they are influenced by the color of their own skin and just can’t get beyond race. They were raised that way and passed it on to Trayvon. Otherwise, Trayvon wouldn’t have considered GZ a creepy ass cracker. He simply would have said, I’m new, visiting my dad, the address is.......that easy, he would be alive today.
