Don't white farmers grow most watermelons? Anybody seen a breakdown?

White men can't jump, but they are sure good at growing things.

Homeschool not an option for me. But I do make sure she hears the other side. Several trips to the Reagan Library have helped.

There's a current thread with the title "BDS Fail:..." about Arab farmers in Gaza attending seminars in Israel to learn better techniques.

The linked article has a picture of a cut watermelon as an example.

Watermelons? He should have it filled with tuna fish salad on white bread with mayonnaise sandwiches. Wrapped in cellophane.

OK. So we have to change the slogan to "White men and Jews can't jump. But they are sure good at growing things!"?

LOL! Now that you mention it, I can't name a famous Jewish basketball player either.

He's a farmer perhaps he's a watermelon farmer. No clues as to where he's from. I'd guess somewhere east of the Mississippi River because of this, "wral.com"

It's such a simple matter to click on a state when posting an article.

“...good at growing things.”

It’s difficult driving from NC into SC on the way to the beach...and NOT stopping at every little farmer’s produce stand along the road. Most people familiar with these stands understand the hard work and effort that goes into getting the farmer’s product to “market”. Buyers aren’t just spending money when they purchase, they’re showing respect for the farmer’s chosen “field”.

Not to mention, it’s just good eatin’.

Dont worry - once the undocumented workers are normalized, California will be a Republican stronghold again.

There is a country grocery store, not to far from me, that has a “White Trash Food Festival” every year. They hold a contest in which you submit some sort of white trash dish. Rules are it must contain at least one of the following: Wonder Bread; Spam; Velveeta Cheeze; Miracle Whip; or Jell-O.

Those five ingredients are called the “White Trash Food Pyramid”.

No, this is not down South somewhere, it’s right here in Washington State.

Why would a trailer full of watermelons for sale in a 4th of July parade be “over the top”?

From one of the posts at the original site, emphisis mine:

"Melanie, Here is something they dont teach in the white history books.

"Anthony Johnson was a black Angolan held as an indentured servant by a merchant in the Colony of Virginia in 1620, but later freed to become a successful tobacco farmer and property owner. Notably, he was the first true slave owner: that is, the first to hold a black African servant as a slave in the mainland American colonies. Upon his death in 1670, a court ruled that he was "a negro and by consequence, an alien", and the colony seized his land."

The first slave owner in the colonies was a black man from Angola. Ironically, his own law suit establishing slavery in the colonies caused his heirs lose his land after he died. There were over 3800 black slave owners in the south prior to the civil war.

I don't know, I'm just going by the "W". "W"s are east of the Mississippi and to the west are "K"s.
