My own thoughts on a stealth collapse vs. a Quick and hard one is that the Stealth collapse is just like ‘kicking a can down the road’. There comes the time when you either reach the end of the road or you lose the can.

Now with a stealth collapse you can go right into the Quick and hard one in just one day or possibly a week. All it takes is for one domino, one of the rotten pillars supporting all of this to crack and break. And then it will all come apart and for the most people here in the U.S. are not aware of what is happening around them. That means that when it starts to collapse the will be unable to recognize and react in time to save themselves or their families.

I see two primary things out of such an occurance, most will not survive, sorry but that’s just how I see it. The rest of the ones who didn’t see it coming will be prime candidates to join “ANYONE” who offers a return to a semblance of their former normality and they won’t care about any chains they have to put on to get it.

As far as any other nation trying to invade and take over? Some will be tempted, most will just use the U.S. as a horrible example of __________________.

Perhaps I’m feeling pessimistic today, but I see it coming and I wish I didn’t. But with that said, I’m still going to do what I can to make it through and get my family through too.

TWM: I agree with your “stealth collapse”, but it won’t be kicking the can; it’s more like the frog in the boiling pot. Kicking the can implies that someone down the road will fix all the ills. The frog in the pot simply dies. That’s how I see it happening...

I live in apartment with no grass and very few windows. So I made “Rolling Gardens” I salvaged some old casters and building materials and created rolling carts. I salvaged some 5 gallon buckets and made some of those nifty “Earth Buckets” Now I've got 2 huge cucumber plants 12 huge tomato plants 4 huge pepper plants as well as lettuce and potatoes and garlic.

I roll them out during the day on the sidewalk and them take them in a night.

Already harvesting cucumbers...
