In 2011, President Obama quickly called on President Mubarak to acquiesce to demonstrators demands and leave office.
With Mubarak out of the way, Obama proceeded to support the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood, who succeeded in stealing the revolution.
Obamas support extended to an ex-con named Muhammad Morsi. By his own admission, Morsi was in prison during the January 25 demonstration. But he was in contact with members of Hamas, who broke into the prison and freed Morsi and other Muslim Brotherhood prisoners.
When Morsi ran for the presidency, Obama continued to support him, even when it was clear that the close election was rigged by dubious tactics.
With six possible Muslim Brotherhood operatives working in the Obama administration, and Obamas full-fledged support of Morsi, you would think that Egyptians would be in love with Obama. But the deeply troubled Egyptian public is in no way enamored with this White House. Quite the contrary.
More than 40 percent of Egyptian citizens currently must survive on about $2 US per day. Lines to purchase gasoline stretch on for hours. The lines for a tank of propaneneeded for cooking and other necessities of lifeextend for up to nine hours. Electricity is cut off from 2-3 hours per night.
When the Egyptian masses finally couldnt take it anymore, 22 million people signed a petition to recall Morsis electionmore than twice the number of people than originally voted for him.
Then something totally unprecedented happened: 30 million people took to the streets. The largest mass demonstration in human history.
The Egyptian Army had tried on many occasions to mediate between President Morsi and the opposition. But Morsi autocratically and arrogantly refused to talk to anyone other than his masters in the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters.
In order to avoid the stigma of a coup, the military leaders met with a cross-section of the Egyptian population and religious leaders, including Islamists. As a result, they produced a wise plan calling for an election and appointing the chief justice of the Supreme Court as the interim president.
But here is the irony: while millions of Egyptians responded to Morsis ouster by joyfully dancing in the streets, the Muslim Brotherhood advisors in the White House helped Obama produce a non-descript statement. With his wishy-washy message about those who are democratically elected, Obama confirmed in Egyptian minds that he is in the pocket of the Muslim Brotherhood.
It is downright depressing to see the leader of the free world unable to comprehend the Islamic understanding of democracy. To the Islamist, democracy means one man, one vote, one time. Once they have their power, theres no reason to ever have another election.
Thank God for the wise and courageous Egyptian people who comprehended that plan and stopped it before it was too late.
And thank God for the persecuted Christians in Egypt who have cried out to God while withstanding injustice during the reign of the Muslim Brotherhood. As a committed Christian, I believe God has heard their cries, even when President Obama covered his ears. They have set an example for every harassed believer in the world, including in America, to pray and hope that God will hear our prayers.
Ostrich-size egg .... unless there is something bigger.
What the heck do you mean "even when"?? That fact alone probably got him ten points in The Won's score book.
Maybe...0bama should go appologise to the pyramids
“Bush’s fault!” - President Obama
wow-I wonder if the protest signs with Obama’s pics will be in the future history books written in America about this event? /s
Imagine, as part of your “legacy”, being one of the reasons for the biggest protest in history-so big it could be seen from space? And it wasn’t even in your own country but you were so despised, they couldn’t leave you-a Peace Prize recipient- out of it?
Obama can’t spin the whole world anymore either-2008 is soooo over and they are done blowing him kisses...
If they cut off electricity every night, what happens to their refrigerators/freezers? Or do they not have one?
Great article bump
Just about everything suggested in your rant is not limited to 0bama. The serious situation of US engagement within the sphere of foreign intrigue has been an on-going re-occurrence since 1948; the legal creation of the CIA which has been meddling around the world for over 60 years now.
All around the world, these “pet political projects” are boomeranging upon the people of the US. Why? Because the US government represents the US citizenry.
Texas Republican Sen.Ted Cruz blasted the Obama administrations policy toward Egypt in a scathing op-ed in Foreign Policy magazine, slamming the presidents stance on the Muslim Brotherhood one of the most stunning diplomatic failures in recent memory.
As the Egyptian military ends President Mohamed Morsis rule, Cruz points out that the ire of many people in the streets of Cairo is not reserved for the Muslim Brotherhood alone.
The people protesting in the streets were not only carrying anti-Morsi signs, Cruz writes. They were also carrying signs with slogans like Obama Supports Terrorism and Obama Supports Morsi, as well as pictures of the American ambassador to Egypt, Anne Patterson, with a large red X through her face.
Below are some examples of the pictures and signs carried by the enemies of Herr Obozo, the Egyptian People in Cairo as noted by Ted Cruz. These photos will not appear in the MSM.
Well, not in current species
Obama's Arab Spring Has Sprung
No problem for Obama he enjoys thing put on his face.
A “One and done” election is a great cover story for pseudo-democracy leading to Obama-backed Muslim Brotherhood domination. Phony as all heck. But, the military does not appear to be a bunch of choir boys either.
But they will never hear anything pinning the blame on the Obama administration-- look at how the State Department just flat out lied to their faces about Lurch being out sailing while Egypt goes up in flames. I'm sure most everyone heard the State Department denial, but only a few heard the truth.
Nothing will change unless some state governments step up to the plate and start nullifying federal laws and regulations and start arresting federal officials.
The US is already a 'soft' despotism (see Steyn's recent stories on the bunny regulation enforcers) where you can be threatened to be fined into bankruptcy with no legal recourse. We're only a few steps away from political opponents of the regime and priests being arrested and jailed on trumped-up charges for "civil rights" violations for opposing "gay marriage" or abortion.
We can all talk about how we will "resist" individually, but that just means we'll be picked-off one by one. We need politically organized resistance backed by armed men, which is a combination only the state governments have in sufficient measure to be effective.

muslim brotherhood / al qaeda / obama
what could go wrong
Sounds like a populace-driven election without paper ballots, with security provided by the military, ousted Morsi. That doesn’t sound quite like a military coup in the traditional sense to me.
