Six men were killed and at least 28 other people were wounded in shootings throughout the city so far this holiday weekend.
A 5-year-old boy was among the wounded — shot early Friday alongside two men at a West Pullman park.
Several hours earlier, a 7-year-old boy was also shot in a park – this one in Chatham.
Additionally, Chicago Police fatally shot a male in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.
The most recent murder was reported to police about 5:15 a.m. Friday in the Rogers Park neighborhood. A man was found shot to death in the 7400 block of North Paulina Street, police said. No other details were available.

That is exactly how sharia is implemented. You knew that, and presented the scenario, anyhow. Why?
How many of these perps bought their guns and ammo legally?

I read an article where a bunch of women in some African country got together to pray to end their civil war. Then they became more involved in their communities. They finally resorted to saying “no sex” to their husbands to make them sit done and end the war. The war ended.
I wish some Godly women would do that in Chicago. Of course with so many daddies but very few husbands it probably wouldn’t work in Chicago.
These Chicagoans really know how to let their hair down and have a good time.
That is a bizarre extrapolation. Vigilantism is a proud American tradition when criminals run rampant, and government either won’t stop them, or worse, joins with them against the honest citizenry. It’s got nothing at all to do with Sharia law, which from the American point of view is something that primitive and barbaric foreigners do.
Vigilantism almost always remains a peaceful movement, following legal means to get the government to perform its duties. But it only arises when those peaceful means are thwarted. This means petitions are despised, elections are subverted, attempts at citizen watch patrols to report crime and criminals are ignored by the police.
As soon as a citizens organization forms, not even imagining itself as a vigilante group, the criminals see it as a threat to their power and attack it, and the government sees it as a greater threat to *their* power than even the criminals and attack it as well. They do this with threats and violence directed against the leaders and members of the group and their families.
This can mean an attack by criminals, or the police, or both against non-violent citizens. And they are not satisfied with just breaking up the citizens group; they want to humiliate it and humble it before its criminal and government masters.
Finally, the citizenry can take no more, and decide to drive out the criminals and likely the corrupt government. And even at this late point, they just want them to leave. But if they resist, then the vigilantes finally turn violent, and become a lynch mob.
Posters like this, that I mentioned before, oddly go up after the criminals and corrupt government have been driven out. The purpose, I suppose, is to let any remaining criminals know that they had better leave, because any attempt by them to break the law will be met with swift punishment.
All of it is US history, repeated many times before, mostly in old California. Nothing at all to do with Muslims and their heathen ways.
So all told, by posting such flyers in a rough part of Chicago, those who know US history would recognize them, and they would be seen as a damning indictment of the local government. And that is the real purpose of the exercise.
Maybe not, additional gunshots could likely have been mistaken for fireworks and those bodies could be found by Monday morning.......
Maybe its time to put a fence around South Chicago, give them all the time they need to shoot each other and problem solved. Then we can move on to Philly, St. Louis, etc. etc. (certainly I have missed many other great places in the liberal world.)

And they called Cambodia “The Killing Fields”. The problem for these folks is that they have every reason to fear the government as much as the street thugs. If they leave their security to the police, street thugs will kill them. If they defend their lives, then the cops will kill them or their local prosecutor will put them in prison for life.
Talk about a no-win scenario. Here is indisputable proof that the police and laws cannot protect you or prevent crime. The only thing decent people can do is get out of this city (and other liberal-run cities) and let the politicians and the criminals battle it out.
Let them try raising taxes from street thugs.
I would not feel safe on any “side” of Chicago. The criminals know where to find the loot when they want it. And they know that the loot is not in the poor part of town.
I cannot say whether the dead are white or black or any other race of people. What I can say is that dead is dead no matter what race you are.
You explained my point perfectly. Are you a muslim, or not? Will you declare for Allah, or not. Now is the perfect time.
More to the point, are you a kook or not? Your suggestion that American vigilantism has something, anything, to do with Sharia law is extremely far fetched, and lacking any foundation at all. And to imply that someone here has Sharia law sensibilities is downright insulting.
Just the sort of thing a communist might do.
