The sun has been shining.....as it usually does....just a bit more often lately and the fireworks last night were a less that spectacular. The organizers put them on a barge out in Hilo Bay instead of Coconut Island and the show was abbreviated. Wouldn't even scare a plover....

OH...so sorry. The city just had a burn ban lifted and some rain. Very overcast last night and I’m not even sure they had fireworks this year.

I did enjoy the fireworks on “The Capitol Fourth” on TV.
