Today, July 5th, is DAY #19 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
The State is expected to wrap up their case today A great recap of the trial so far is available HERE: The key witness today expected to be Sybrina Fulton, mom.
Great Expectations? Remember, as yall have noted during the 15+ months of research, there is so much corruption in the assembly of this case we could expect the State to avoid the traditional witnesses brought by normal prosecutions. We have not been disappointed in our predictions. The state has already won a pre-trial motion to bar the defense mentioning the absence of any witness from the States case.
So it comes as no surprise, not a single State investigator has been called, not a single FBI officer, only one local investigative detective, Chris Serino (who supported the defense), and now the profound possibility they wont even present the Seminole County Medical Examiner. So has the State actually even proven that Trayvon is indeed, deceased? Without the M.E. the ballistics are essentially moot where did the aforementioned bullet come from? They have not established it came from Trayvons body. Think about it.
Because of pre-trial motions in limine to exclude the defense bringing it up, OMara cannot mention it. Would/Will the jurors notice a missing M.E. = Trayvon blood tox. etc?

1) Mistrial declared by judge,
2) Charges dismissed by State-retrial later ,
3) Witness and tesitmony discredited
4) Witness declared hostile, or
5) State agrees to finish up with witness, Rest, and Defense asks for acquital/directed verdict and gets it.
I presume the Jury is not watching this right now
This thread is the only bright spot in this trial!
Eww. hopefully they all use protection.
I can tell you that I have heard at least 100 LEO's testify as to their qualifications to offer expert testimony in one case or another and I have heard them provide lengthy and elaborate descriptions of their training in the area of use of force (lethal and nonlethal), confrontations, conflict/conflict resolution, but I have never heard any of them testify that they were in fact just "marginally trained" and I have never heard any of them testify that they "typically did not follow what training the did have" so I certainly can't confirm what you are saying.
However, like I said, not all LEO's are perfect and there are some who just aren't equipped psychologically for what is at times very stressful work.
An hour after Bao’s testimony they’ll want to hear it again.
They need to put ALL the prosecution’s team under oath!
I wonder if Bernie can spell disbarment?
Leni
“TV and PC ruining a trial.”
During lunch recess, I watched CNN...biased. So I switched to FOX. They commented on how very emotional the trial was so far today because the mother and brother were on the stand.
Hmmm... I must have missed the emotions...
He’s probably swearing that he did not know about Bao’s notes and what is in them — and what is in them must be devastating.
I think Bao is going to be looking for a new job and an attorney.
Wonder of the prosecution had provided a suggested script? If the prosecution is paniced, I have to wonder.
GZ might plead guilty to a lesser charge of jaywalking, but that’s about all the state can expect.
Oh yeah.
When the time comes, Defense will ask for case to be dismissed.
So, what was it that MOM was snickering at when he was looking at the notes? I think there’s a direct connection.
That’s funny
Do I have to read those few hundred posts I missed or will a few of you give me the FR summary of what I’ve missed...especially cross of ME (the one thing of pros case I really wanted to see...SIGH...murphy’s law! Durn it!
A mistrial would be horrible....unfair to GZ having to sit in another whole trial...
Can anyone see if he has his fingers crossed behind his back????
Absolutely. There is something in those notes that indicate he had help from someone. Maybe “notes” written on the “notes”?
Who is going to write the outline for him ?
