U.S. troops deployed to Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan this week held the first Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender Pride event to be observed in a deployed environment.
The Pentagon also held a LGBT Pride Month ceremony on Tuesday, one day before the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act, which defined marriage as between a heterosexual couple.

How is that most cannot understand that obama wants to destroy the USA, and to do that it, for obama is not a he, obama is a it, must destroy our military, our police and our Constitution.
How much more can we take? He bans our military from a fireworks celebration even tho someone offered to pay for it but we have money in our budget for this? Dear God help us! I hate to say this but we don’t encourage anyone in our family to join the military anymore, it no longer represents the values we hold dear.
The new aMeriKa.
Remember that the vast majority of troops find this revolting.
A few rear-echelon (no pun intended) types throw a small queer party and it gets publicity. Odd that the Army leadership does not worry about this providing propaganda for our enemies but keeps our troops from even the most modest sharing of their faith.
When will straight people be able to hold a “pride” event?
Are there transgendered people in the military?
How can any straight person applaud this?
There is no reason I can think of where I would serve in the military today.
PLEASE save us from ourselves.
Thank you and Amen.
God is going to strike this country down.
What sick radical leftist SOB dreamed up that crap?
Our guys cannot have a beer in Afghanistan because it’s against Afghan law. Off post, our female soldiers still coverup. Our guys cannot possess a Playboy because it’s against the law in Afghanistan.
In every way, it’s been drilled into our guys that they cannot disrespect the laws of a host nation.
And yet, we can host a loud party in Kandahar, celebrating an act that violates Afghan law.
This makes no sense.
...remember back when women of the military had to cover up when arriving in Saudi Arabia as to not offend......NOW,its like Odungo wants to offend
U r right and it is so hard to watch. I spit on everyone who voted for this man!
Amen.
No chance we could ever have a military coup.
Geez. We really have gone off the deep end.
IIRC we were told during BCT (1969) that it was a violation of the UCMJ for members of the Armed Forces to contract VD.If my memory isn’t failing me on that point I wonder what the UCMJ has to say about AIDS.
It will have to reach a point where the pleasure is not worth the pain. That is what all the food stamps and other freebies are for. To pacify enough of the sheep until slaughter day. They are already being sheared. Slaughter is next.
These are the same locations where female solders have to wear hijabs and are not allowed to drive. In addition, our soldiers can’t enjoy a cold brew after a hard day. We can’t upset the Muslim sensibilities...well, except now.
The possibility of becoming a POW would be too delicious to pass up......an entire new meaning...........Pu$$y of War
I am sick of the gay political movement being shoved down my throat (bad choice of words, considering) every time I turn around, on the news, on TV shows and now dominant on the military. The number of gays in the population compared to the amount of push this is given is way out of proportion.
Spotted owls were not about the owls but to lock up the forests to development, As the Gay Pride movement is not about so-called civil rights but about moving the Regressive political cause forward
I know most enlisted r against this. I am on mobile reading this and can’t get video, pics to load. But u really think it was just a minor thing? Not that it makes it right buy I was picturing a big event where our guys were MADE to go and in all purposes celebrate the lifestyle? I hope that wasn’t the case.
