Arrest leads to man’s third deportation
Two foot chases, Taser required to bring man into police custody
After two foot chases and the injury of an officer, Bardstown Police have arrested and correctly identified a man who, ar first, gave them a false name.
Samuel Diego Jimenez initially identified himself to police as Jarquin J. Esau when he was arrested Sunday. Capt. Tom Roby said Jimenez has been deported to Mexico twice, and this will be his third deportation. Roby said he was last deported after he was arrested in Cincinnati with a weapon.
“He’s probably going to be prosecuted federally,” Roby said.
Jimenez, 20, ran from Bardstown police after they responded to a complaint of an intoxicated and armed, disorderly, male at 158 Caldwell Ave. Sunday around 2:30 a.m.
Officers were informed that the Hispanic man was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans and had fled the scene on foot.
During the pursuit, officers saw Jimenez reaching into his front waistband and looking over his shoulder. They lost sight of him as he entered a wood line in a high brush area.
Nelson County Sheriff’s Deputy Jerry Hardin and his K-9 were contacted to respond to the scene for assistance but were unable to track Jimenez.
Police later received another complaint that Jimenez was back at 158 Caldwell Ave. and was trying to leave in a vehicle. When officers returned, Jimenez fled on foot from police again. During the chase, police say they saw him throw a handgun away.
Roby said no shots were fired.
Police caught up to Jimenez in the back yard of a nearby home where he began to fight and resist arrest.
A Taser was used to subdue him but police are unsure if it made clear contact with Jimenez.
Deputy Reece Riley received a minor injury to his lip while trying to arrest Jimenez. He was treated at Flaget Memorial Hospital.
Roby said it’s often a routine thing for people to run from the police.
“It’s not uncommon to have a couple flee in a month,” he said.
Police found a Bryco Jennings 9 mm handgun with a round in the chamber and four rounds in the magazine.
Jimenez was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police on foot, carrying a concealed weapon, third-degree assault of a police officer and resisting arrest.
Now that they are turning this gun carrying POS over to the feds, you can guarantee he ain't going back, probably just cut him loose with a pamphlet on how to be come legalized in 3 easy steps. Maybe even toss in a couple of SS numbers to make his job hunt easier. Sarcasm, yes, but not far from the truth.
I also point out that the KY Standard (which is liberal trash, only read it for the local news) can't even get a headline correct. He's not been deported, just arrested.
Reading this ruined my breakfast this morning. OTOH, I guess this is the new meaning of Independence Day in Obama's America.
Second offense:
Anyone with that sort of distinctive tattoo can be shot on sight, no questions asked.
Don't come back.
Third time should get a .22 short behind the ear on the spot, no muss - no fuss.

Why don’t they just give him his license, voter ID and be done with it sooner?
Tattoos can be altered, I go with explosive collars and electronic sensors on the border. The next time they try to enter they self deport forever! Maybe a little SciFi but very satisfying.

Make a law making it illegal to alter one on the bottom of the foot.
A few years back on FR, there was a post (might have posted it myself) about a woman who claimed to have crossed 450 times at McAllen, TX before she got caught. She said it wasn’t any big deal because it wasn’t slowing her down. The border security is a total joke and everyone knows it.
If he had been sentenced to a few years at hard labor, building an enormous wall on the southern border, he might have thought harder about trespassing again.
