FYI
Udall must have voted “incorrectly”.
FWIW, Sen. Mark Udall’s brother was an extreme enviromentalist.
Thanks for the ping.
Or was Udall outspoken on an issue lately?
This is pretty common in mountain areas. Search and Rescue just found the wind tattered tent and body (skeleton) of a man in his late 50s who hiked up to the 11,500’ level here in the High Sierra of California last October just before a major snowstorm hit.
RIP.
THere are a bunch of Udalls

Udall is married to Jill Cooper Udall. They live in Santa Fe with their one daughter, Amanda Cooper. Udall is the nephew of Arizona Congressman Morris Udall, and first cousin of senior Colorado U.S. Senator Mark Udall, double second cousin of former Oregon U.S. Senator Gordon Smith,[9] and second cousin of Utah U.S. Senator Mike Lee.[

Runs in the family
” In 1992, the US Congress founded the Morris K. Udall Scholarship and Excellence in National Environmental Policy Foundation. [3] It is an agency of the executive branch of the federal government, and among other functions, gives scholarships to students of environmental policy. In 2009, Congress added Mo’s brother, Stewart Udall, into the foundation by renaming it the Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation.”
That’s from his dad’s wikipedia page.
Prayers up for Udall.
Thanks for checking. Connections to other family members who are also in politics.
You need a U-Haul for all of them “Udalls”.
If you gotta go.
That is exactly what I was about to post.
My guess is a heart attack.
One of Mos sons, Randy, inherited the Udall bishop gene: The gospel he spreads is renewable energy. Hes run the nonprofit Community Office for Resource Efficiency (CORE), based in Aspen, Colo., for 15 years. CORE has persuaded the locals to shoulder a renewable energy mitigation tax, which essentially says that if Aspenites want to heat their driveways, fine, but to compensate for the energy use, they have to pay extra to retrofit public buildings with green power. So far, the tax has generated $2.5 million. Another CORE program brings wind power to 2,500 homes.
This is just an example. There are many more.
Does that mean he practiced outdoor sports extremely? Or are you saying he's not worth our sympathy cos, he like died, but he was an environmentalist, and therefore not worth our compassion?
That's right, you meant the first part, right? Whew, coulda been embarrassing if you'd meant the second option.
