Obama is rebuilding an Islamic Caliphate - aiding a reconstitution of the Ottoman Empire by attempting to topple Assad, and empowering the Sunni Arabs in their bid to be the King of the South.

Both empires will be sworn enemies of the Great and little Satan.

Obama has been busy arming our enemies and defrauding what we had left for allies.

He was and is, a Trojan Horse for every enemy of America.

So the US President is siding with the Islamic Fundamentalists? Pretty consistent with his policies thus far.
In his infamous Cairo speech, the US President reached out to the Arab world and the Egyptian people. He has the opposite of the Midas touch, whatever he touches turns to lead, not gold.

The Egyptian military knew where this was all heading and they decided to step in - good for them -against the wishes of the US President. NOBODY is paying attention to this armature. Not Israel, not Egypt, not Europe or the Axis of Evil. He is TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE.

Doesn't the US President understand anything? The Egyptian Army understands what the threat to their nation was from radical (or general) Islam. This is a positive power shift in the region. This may slow down the Islamicist in their tracks good to see Israel and Egypt working on this together, without BHO.

The Israeli press is monitoring the situation very closely. It would appear that there is a lot of cooperation between the Egyptian and Israeli armies on this one. The idea is to reign in the HAMAS/ISLAMIC JIHAD/MB in Gaza and in the Egyptian Sinai.
Israeli officials are (for once) keeping their mouths shut.
The press is covering it on TV, radio and in the print media as well. Can you blame the Israelis for being nervous? Look at their neighbors!!

Knee-jerk reflex by threatening to “review” US aid policies to Egypt.

Reminds me of Reagan's halting the shipment of F-16s to Israel after they blasted the Iraqi Osirak Nuclear reactor in 1981 because the Israelis may have used US weapons systems in an “offensive” manner.

We can only thank the Israelis for doing that in 1981 because it made the job easier for US and coalition forces in 1991 and 2003.

America sometimes demonstrates very shortsighted policies.

Looks like those hundreds of millions of dollars the US gave Egypt were FINALLY put to some PRACTICAL USE, and Obama doesn’t like it-—suddenly he wants to review it.
The rhetoric currently coming from the WH keeps invoking how troubled he is about a democratically elected government should be respected—among other things, he might be seeing the writing on the wall .
What’s interesting is that this at last seems to be The TRUE Arab Spring people were prematurely describing over a year ago-—you know, the one that somehow put a diehard radical Islamist, Morsi in office. And if the MILITARY is the institution that seized power and helped “topple” Morsi, it looks like they didn’t see themselves as having much to gain
from the US/Morsi Big Dollar largesse.

Honestly, time will tell. On the face of it, it is a good thing, becasue, as was pointed out Morsi was an anti-American islamist. When you look at the bigger picture, it gets a bit more complicated. Egypt is broke. US aid was being spent as quickly as they received. Tourism, a huge source of income, has all but dried up. The Egyptian military is really in dire straights, as far as being able to maintain its capability. With obama shutting the spigot off, they will turn elsewhere for support. That will come from Russia, China, or both; neither of which have US interests in mind.

Politically, there is no guarantee that Morsi’s replacement will be much better. The country is split pretty evenly between the safalists/islamist crowd and the more secular groups. The military has been infiltrated by the MB. If things go bad again all the above could make the military unable to pull Egypt’s fat out of the fire, yet again.

Like I said, time will tell if this is a good thing for the US. My personal opinion is that obama will do everything in his power to make sure the outcome doesn’t fall in favor of US interests. In fact, I’d wager that when Egypt comes out of the tunnel, the country as a whole will be very anti-US and even more belligerent towards Israel than it has been. That is just my opinion and a truly hope I am wrong.

Ted Cruz made an excellent statement re the failures of Herr Obozo in Egypt:

Texas Republican Sen.Ted Cruz blasted the Obama administration’s policy toward Egypt in a scathing op-ed in Foreign Policy magazine, slamming the president’s stance on the Muslim Brotherhood “one of the most stunning diplomatic failures in recent memory.”

As the Egyptian military ends President Mohamed Morsi’s rule, Cruz points out that the ire of many people in the streets of Cairo is not reserved for the Muslim Brotherhood alone.

“The people protesting in the streets were not only carrying anti-Morsi signs,” Cruz writes. “They were also carrying signs with slogans like ‘Obama Supports Terrorism’ and ‘Obama Supports Morsi,’ as well as pictures of the American ambassador to Egypt, Anne Patterson, with a large red ‘X’ through her face.”
