I don't know exactly what happened to TWA Flight 800 that night, but after reading many comments from pilots I'm almost 100% certain that it didn't happen the way the government investigators claimed it did.

The fact that you had the FBI and CIA involved in an airline disaster investigation, and that the CIA felt compelled to produce an animated video of an explosion/crash sequence that was comical to anyone who had flown an airplane, made this thing suspicious from the get-go.

The government has been proven many times now to have lied, not just about this case but in many cases; the latest being the “rogue” IRS agent story. Being a Freeper when TWA 800 happened, I remember the first speculation was that a Naval exercise was going on at the time of the TWA 800 incident, which included a surface to air missile test firing, possibly from a submarine.

This new "documentary" coming out apparently comes to the same conclusion.

I saw a vapor trail, streaking across the sky to my left. And then an ordinance explosion, followed in about two to three seconds, by a second ordinance explosion, followed in probably another two or three seconds, a little bit further to the left likely lower, two ordinance explosions, ta da, and then the fireball.
