Pro-life legislators in the Texas statehouse have faced threats and abuse from pro-choice protesters, prompting at least one to bring in extra volunteers to help with security.
State representative Jonathan Stickland tells NRO that being vocally pro-life has made him a target for abuse and threats from some of the pro-choice protesters in Austin. The night before state senator Wendy Daviss filibuster, she requested that people send her stories about the importance of abortion rights that she could read during the filibuster. Stickland tells me that inspired him and a few other representatives from Tarrant County (part of which is in Daviss senate district) to send in 84,160 pieces of blank pink and blue paper to represent the number of abortions in Texas last year.
We delivered them to her office so that she could read the untold stories of all the kids who were aborted last year, he says, adding that the gesture made him the target of intense vitriol, including thousands of tweets. Many were very, very hostile, he says.
My favorite one was probably this female who said that she couldnt wait to see Representative Stickland so that she could pummel my face in, he tells me.

Typical “liberal”s.
And I hope that those who favor baby murder get their karma in spades..if they love abortion SO much they should be willing to get aborted right now..I sure as hell wouldn’t miss them
THERE’S a mentality!
“Typical liberals.”
Yep, that’s what can be expected from the vile evil type of people who support the butchering and murder of babies.
Those cretins are just plain evil.
Real threats to conservatives go ignored, imaginary threats to liberals get police attention.
Liberalthink:
1 - I am pro abortion because I don’t think government should be involved with womens health
2 - I am pro Obamacare because I think government should be involved with everyone’s health.
I am simply amazed that they see no logical fallacy with holding those two beliefs.
The Party of Peace and Tolerance has spoken.
the party of peace and love...
You’re going to protect Women’s health by killing another 25,000,000 baby girls?
Wait....I’m not seeing it....Is there something that I am missing?
Aren’t all those threats tracable with all the NSA info-grab data? Start prosecuting them - you are free to say what you want, but if you break a law in the process, there should be consequences.
Ever notice that the left shuts down scientific debate about global warming, poo-poos debates about science and anatomy when it comes to homosexuality, but absolutely will not allow any scientific evidence in even a discussion on abortion?
The Texas Tea party needs to go to Austin for a two day food and music festival and during the day, go to the statehouse and watch the proceedings.
It would provide us with valuable information about how the Texas legislature works as well as teach us a good lesson in civics.
Plus, we can take up all the seats so the whackos can’t get in.
Mid-Term Abortion-2014
Sorry! I went back to the article and it’s not there anymore!
Evil. Just evil. May they find themselves in jail(or worse).
