Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark OMara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witnessremember, the States witnessthat all but completely guts the States charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. The sense given is that Zimmerman demonstrated endless patience. (continue reading summary)

Bump...
The entire case is a side show. I can’t believe the state is trying to make something out of that pic and comments.
Yeah! Sounds logical to me!
Unless it was recorded, MOM is going to rip it.
Mischaracterization
I dont have a problem with SAFE nuclear plants..
BTW, how is Fukishima working out..worse than you believed yet>>>
They went people to think this is a real indictment.
Yea, it suckered me in too. Just as well that the thread was pulled. If I'd had my way I woulda deleted my post as soon as I realized that the indictment was bogus.
Yeah, they confirmed that a slim jim was found in the bushes were Treyvon apparently went into.
:-/
Can't un-ring the bell!
oh wait..you might be talking about HANFORD...
“Today, it is the nation’s most contaminated nuclear site, with cleanup expected to last decades. The effort with a price tag of about $2 billion annually has cost taxpayers $40 billion to date and is estimated will cost $115 billion more.”
I would have hoped they would have checked the slim jim, awning piece, or whatever it was for prints.
I defer to the all-knowing lord/god/king in charge of thread discipline.
Can someone please fill me in on this. Why was that picture wrong? (Although it was creepy)
its going to sucker a lot of people
someone was indicted..cant remember who..and I said THANK GOD..until I read who was behind it.
Yep. Serino said it was A or B. Then he said it was not A. Then he said it was B. All the prosecution struck was “It was B.”
I think the jury is looking for any reason at all to convict GZ....they are in genuine fear of their own and families lives.
I believe there is no doubt whatsoever they will convict him and send him to prison for something. If not murder, it will be manslaughter.
Sage advice.
This is hard to believe when you are from a generation that was taught to respect the cops, but this is absolutely the truth.
What you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
Your only friend in this instance is your attorney. Cold, hard fact.
That is why you have a judge. The judge should make sure that if the prosecution has not proven up the elements of the crime on a legal basis that the case should not go to the jury.
But juries are free to decide whatever they want for whatever reason they want. I actually believe this jury is comprised of responsible citizens who knew the score going in and were not afraid of rendering a verdict in this case. If they had any reason to "fear for their lives" I'm sure they could have gotten out of jury duty on this case.
I was called for jury duty on a gang murder case. They gave everyone a set of form questions for jury qualifications. One of the questions was whether or not I had any reason not to sit on the jury and I honestly answered that because it was a gang shooting that I really had some serious reservations about rendering a verdict on the case. I was promptly excused from service.

I don't think so. At this point I would suspect that the jury is chomping at the bit to get this over so they can acquit him.
We can't assume every jury is an OJ jury. I have no information that these jurors are anything other than responsible members of the public. They are not going to send some guy to prison for the rest of his life just because they are afraid to render a verdict in his favor. They would have to live with that for the rest of their lives.
(Hey, I was just funnin’ with you.)
No problem. I read where there were some trolls on these threads. I mistakenly thought you might be one,
yea, I’m forced to watch CNN for lack of other options to be able to see the trial.
They mentioned Tracy M. making faces or something...they also said that is a no no in court (duh), but “I think we can give a pass to the parents” YES, SHE SAID THAT....what is the womans’ name anchoring... or she WAS ....ugly broad, which doesn’t matter, but when you’re being vicious, it just makes you uglier...and she didn’t have room to spare to begin with...what’s her name??? I could SLAP that woman. SLAP. HER.
Ok, I have to settle down and breathe now. I’m acting like petty little girl...but I do wish I could smack her ugly face. ok. I’m done.
