Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. OK -——that should be clear to everyone. IF GZ wanted to continue to follow TM, he would of taken a right turn on the T. But, he went straight.
CNN person interrupted the trial earlier to point out to the world that Z’s best friend was sweating on the stand. She also said the juror’s were taking note of that.

I remember getting the feeling the prosecution was doing this during R Jeantel’s ridiculous testimony.
Particularly when she was supposed to be their “star” witness.
So he says that he thought TM took the path down the T, but he took the path down to RVC — a differrent path.
More likely he got out for several reasons. He knows the first question that the police will ask him is, WHERE IS THE SUSPICIOUS PERSON ?
So , he needs to know his own location (street address) and the location of the suspicious person. All required getting out.
absolutely! How would you feel if a cruel stranger jumped you from behind, and was mercilessly beating your head against the cement?
What would give you hope this malevolent stranger would stop?
I’m not defending it. I’m just offering a possibility for why the testimony was not considered hearsay. As I said, IANAL. So it’s just speculation on my part.

Like a juror really notes......witness sweating. Wonder if they took notes that Jeantel was semi comatose, with tongue hanging out and had to consistently wobble her head to maintain consciousness. How about after the break Rachel was having some serious nasal drainage.
FWIW, the recounting of "you're gonna die tonight" might be viewed as an inconsistency because it doesn't appear in every telling. Bernardo pulled this same stunt on John Good, even suggested he was a liar because his accounts weren't all exactly the same, especially on who was screaming.
which is all BS since the HOA may have “domesticated” their streets many years ago giving authority to the police. The surrendering of neighborhood watch formation rights only serves to make property values plumet and turn the HOA into a criminal friendly zone.

You slide it down between the glass and weatherstripping, to reach the rods that lock and unlock the door LATCH. Pull up on the rod once you locate the rod (requiring a bit of experience) and it unlocks.
This makes George’s self defense case even better.

In the lack of confirming evidence , one is only left with rationalization and lies.

Personally I feel the jury should here the “opinion” of a veteran Detective and a trained professional concerning the truthfulness of a suspect he’s diligently investigated and interrogated.
