Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark OMara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witnessremember, the States witnessthat all but completely guts the States charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. The sense given is that Zimmerman demonstrated endless patience. (continue reading summary)

No. They were not referring to inconsistencies. They were claiming that it’s absurd to believe TM would make comments like ‘You’re going to die tonight’, etc.
Witness saying that he waited at SPD with Mrs Z until 2 or 3 am. After collecting GZ, he was told GZ story while driving them home.
NO, the prosecution forced this issue. They were assigned to go down there and look into it. Remember, the FBI found nothing wrong and withdrew. Sanford did not file. Madam Corey bipassed the GJ to go with a complaint.
Tray sat up...and GZ didn't think he had shot him because of that....
He was looking into a window where the light was on and that is when their eyes made contact.
Wow
Slim Jim are/were an actual brand name of a mini crow bar about a foot long. I own two of them. Handy tool!
AT THE TIME, the police had no 'responsibility' for being there at all.
The neighborhood is 'private' in the sense that police did no 'patrols' of the area.
REASON: The HOA had their own security cameras and was responsible for 'patrolling' the complex. The cameras were broken, not working, and hadn't been for a while.
AFTER the death of Trayvon, and after the LAWSUIT against the HOA by the Martin/Fulton pair, the HOA absolved responsibility for security and turned it over to the police.
The SPD now makes regular patrols of that neighborhood.
It’s irrelevant.
Told by police talking to neighborhood watch to always keep suspect in sight —
Just to bring out some more good things....
Handy tool!
Sure is for breaking into cars and prying open windows and doors (Not inferring you do that of course).
Particularly in the rain, and after little care has been taken to preserve DNA (eg, cop stuffing it in his waistband).
O'Mara started with an open question. What did you think of Zimmerman's reaction to being told about a video recording existing? It was Serino who said it told him that Zimmerman was either a pathological liar or telling the truth.
It was after Serino used that term that O'Mara asked if there was any other evidence that Serino took as Zimmerman being a pathological liar.
I agree, it's a perfectly sensible question.
But, if you play that same scene with dishonest cops and a dishonest prosecutor, saying that the defendant is a liar, or that a witness for the defendant is not credible, you'll come away with a different feeling about the propriety of allowing the cops to testify beyond their factual observations.
I was just referring to the need to CCW in general, how funny it was this guy made the comment. Not specifically this case.
The rule is repeat, repeat, repeat....
See my above post. It’s small and easy to carry ( loose) you use in same manner as a crow bar. Great for removing molding breaking off tile etc
I have considered this myself.
Hmmmmm
Maybe the feds can supply us all with Obama-Nightvision cameras.
I would love to have one. :^)
This testimony is redundancy and of no value, as I see it.
