Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. I can’t wait until the defense brings up the fact that the Zimmermans both tutored black kids in their spare time for free. Nobody that is racist against blacks would do that. The ahole MSM and the leftists in America have no integrity whatsoever. They will lie and slander and stalk and demean anyone that they feel isn’t “one of them”. They really are America’s enemy within, IMO.
WFTV saying the fear that injuries can cause death is enough. Not that they will. Also, the jury heard that Zimmerman said Trayvon was reaching for his gun and that testimoney has not been impeached nor rebutted, so this witness did not have much impact for the state at all.

She was confused by it. He was asking about life threatening injuries, one by one. then he said, what about the next one. Stated she didn’t understand, what other injury? He said, “the next one he didn’t get”. (Paraphrased)

WFTV reported the internet is buzzing with info about the ME’s past. They will discuss after a brief break. Sounds like her reputation is about to be dissed...
BS: there is no point to state bringing the witness Dr. Rao up to testify to the extent of Z’s injuries since Z’s statement already given by the state indicates that Z did not shoot until M went for Z’s gun, unless the state wants to try to cast doubt on Z’s statement indirectly by contesting that Z was not hit as hard as he claimed by M before M went for his gun. Z’s statement that M went for Z’s gun has so far not been rebutted by the state.
Just before I moved out of Washington state, there was a guy killed by one blow against the sidewalk. His attacker walked away, but the victim was dead before the paramedics arrived.
Zimmerman was tight with the black community in the Ware trial. They turned their back on him when this came around.
There are many football players that have injuries to their head that result in no bruising but cause serious issues for their health. Just ask the news media they were all over it a few months back.
In my case, I was not sucker punched, we squared off, unfortunately I hit him, he hit me I hit the floor!

That is exactly what I saw with my patient who died of head injuries. Not much to see on his scalp, but he did die from head trauma.
