I guess they have forgotten a slighted person like Richard Jewell...

Too bad that not a lot of real people saw that intentional information release...CNN’s ratings suck...

This may actually be good. Mr. Zimmerman can sue CNN for multiple millions of dollars after he his found not guilty, and he’ll have enough money to get himself, and his family away from the animals in central FL who have threatened to kill him.

So it shouldn't be long before CNN is renamed "GZN, The George Zimmerman Network," reflecting the name of the Network's new owner.

When it comes to innocent media mistakes, some figures who aren’t in favor with the media seem to attract them by the truckloads.

What is that term they use when talking about cancers and contaminants? Clusters?

Some great hacker should leak the names, phone numbers addresses and social security numbers of ALL cnn employees.
See how they like having scum sign up for credit cards and such under their credit.

Courtroom cameras are usually operated on a pool basis, either by court employees or one of the networks on a rotating basis. Same with still photographers. If each network had its own cameras and crews in the courtroom all the time, there wouldn’t be room for anyone else. Try flipping between CNN, HLN, MSNBC and FNC when they’re carrying live coverage; they have exactly the same shot.

Even if the image hadn’t gone out on television, it would have been visible to the spectators inside the courtroom. It should have been redacted before being released in open court, and the failure is probably the court clerk’s fault.

Zimmerman should start using Obama’s STOLEN SSN #042-xx-xxxx.

It was issued to a Connecticut resident. Obama never lived there.

What could they do, sue/prosecute Zimmerman for using it? His lawyers would show up in court to document “The history of Obama’s SSN.”

That wouldn’t go well for Soetoro.

Does CNN get a cut of the reward money from the Black Panthers? They do need it to keep the boat floating.

So will a hacker be able to use this information to clean out Zimmerman's bank account? (Not that there is likely to be much money in it.)

Can a person get a new Social Security number when something like this has happened?

The defense and the judge saw this info before it was introduced into evidence. Many folks screwed up on this one. The defense should have objected, and it would have been sustained. The prosecution can’t be excused for not redacting the document though.

Mr. Zimmerman should be owning himself some CNN fairly soon.

If the media was thrown out of this trial immediately, the trial would cease to exist due to lack if interest, except of course, Sanford burning down. CNN knows that.

I’m hoping he can launch a separate lawsuit on each and every wrong everybody did him: the networks, the reporters, the newspapers, the government, the prosecutor.

They deserve to be put out of business for what they did to him.

This is hardly the first time Zimmerman’s personal information has been distributed by those who oppose him. During the initial coverage of the Zimmerman trial, Spike Lee retweeted the home address of what he thought was Zimmerman’s home address. It turned out to be the wrong address. Roseanne Barr then tweeted Zimmerman’s parents’ home address. “If Zimmerman isn’t arrested I’ll rt his address again. maybe go 2 his house myself,” Barr tweeted.

This isn’t the first element of media bias in the Zimmerman case, either. The Associated Press originally reported that Zimmerman was white. That falsehood was repeated for days by the media, heightening the racial aspect of the case.

The media also broadcast photographs of Zimmerman from a 2005 arrest rather than current photos, and conversely broadcast photographs of Martin as a pre-teen, not the 17-year-old he was at the time of the killing (the media’s photographic choices actually impacted witness testimony during the trial).

NBC News manipulated tape of Zimmerman’s 911 call to make it seem that Zimmerman had targeted Martin because he was black, rather than responding to 911 dispatcher questions. CNN also isolated audio of Zimmerman purportedly calling Martin a racial slur during the call — an allegation that ended up being completely false.

Both ABC News and NBC News also alleged that Zimmerman’s injuries did not exist, releasing badly-pixellated photographs from the night of the incident. As trial testimony has shown, Zimmerman was indeed injured during the incident...

Great! Now watch obama start using it! - Zimmerman’s SS#.

I mean, why not? Doesn’t he use 3-4 other stolen ones already?

Oh, but he’s a DEMOCRAT; it’s just RACIST to speak of such things!
